Early Access Code?

in Final Fantasy XIV

Hello, couldnt find an answer so making a new thread.

Anyone knows how we get the early access key? Is it in the box or mailed from the retailer you bought it from? I remember a few games where the key was actually sent with email to make sure everyone could login at release.

I could guess theres a few out there that wont get their CE copy by tomorrow?

    It's mailed with your CE box.

    Yes, according to Gamestop's FFXIV CE page:

    Pre-order Final Fantasy XIV Collector's Edition for the PC and receive the Onion Helm in-game item. Available online and in-store while supplies last.

    Online / Store Customers: A code and instructions on how to redeem your Onion Helm will come packaged with your game.

    Considering the Onion Helm is your CE item, I'm pretty sure that you register your early access with the same code you get your Onion Helm with. Considering this comes packaged with the game (Gamestop did not open your package to put it in there) undoubtedly all copies of the Collector's Edition no matter where you get them sohuld have this code included.

    You really only just get one code, that being the CE game registration code. Once you add that to the account, you automatically get the head start and the Onion Helm.

    I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

    Alright thanks.

    Oh well, was hoping to log in tonight(ish) - havent got my box yet.. was dispatched monday - so hopefully tomorrow!

    the CE Version comes with 4 keys :-

    - In-Game item key "the Onion Helm"

    - FFXIV Registeration Key

    - 30-day free trial guest pass key

    - Member registeration key

     

    Doesnt come with an "Early Access Code", ive use all but the Guest pass key and nowhere did it say anything about early access

    Like "Bridycephon" said im sure its just automatically done when you Register you CE Registeration key

    The support site does say to make sure you enter the in-game item (onion helm) key before you create your characters or those characters won't get the helm.  At least not without deleting and recreating them.

    Yeah, it may be separate.

    Can those who already got their CE clerify?
