Did anyone recently play the last beta on a 56K modem. If so, how was it? a lot of lag? I'm just wondering this because I'm about to get my cable shut down because the isp is going out of business.
Hey man i used 56k this last beta eavent and it was awesome. i mean the accual game play was not laggy at all but downloading the new areas and towns could take up to 20-40 minuits. if you're just installed it the first patch/ up date takes like 4-5 hours... lol but aftert that it's not long at all. i just did my home work or went on a bike ride while the major downloads went on. you even do the download over night or what ever.

Try to find another broadband company. The only problem I can see with dial-up is when you first go into new areas and have to download the files. Some of the areas have alot of files to download.
Downloading the maps is no problem, I can just go do something else during that time. I'm just worried about lag and such. My computer can handle the game full settings and all ( I played last beta at friends house).
Will a majority of the areas be on the game CD so that it can be installed instead of downloaded? If so this would help and you would only need to stream in updates
