World of Warcraft: Cataclysmic Changes to Tinkertown

Blizzard Entertainment has another in a series of World of Warcraft zone previews highlighting changes coming with the Cataclysm expansion. This time Tinkertown and the fight for Gnomeregan are spotlighted.

In the wake of Operation: Gnomeregan, survivors of the fallout will make their way to New Tinkertown, the gnomes' foothold outside their captured city. From there they will be called into action by the high tinker himself to help protect reclaimed gnomish land from new and imminent threats. As one of the newest recruits to this cause, your mettle will be put to the test when you face perilous trials like rescuing captured gnomish demolitionists, destroying a tunnel riddled with vicious troggs, and extinguishing toxic sludge that has begun to rise from the irradiated depths of the city.

I think this is the least impressive new starter area, the undead and troll are the best of what I have seen.  ( not counting the new goblin and worgen areas ofc)

Am going to take a wait and see approach with this, with all the over-hype about the expansion and the comments on the official forums that the expansion is going to be similiar to NGE/CU FUBAR of SWG fame, so am taking a wait and see approach to this to see how it pans out before actually buying money for the expansion.

Damn, everytime they announce something new the only reaction I can come up with is meh.

I'm still at wait and see status.

I love Gnomes! The only Alliance race I played. refused to play any other race.

Quit well over a year ago.  Not seeing anything much to drag me back yet.  Well except for there is not much else out that is better.
