It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!
the worst part about ffxvi, is that when you try selling stacks upon stacks of trash to vendor. this function alone is a part time job by clicking and menus even more menus more clicking manually. SE needs to fix this, its painful, and i cant imagine someone with 100 stacks of vendor trash or crafting items trying to manually clicking each items one by one. i think this is the biggest flaw of the game itself who wants to spend so much time just to sell items especially when you have a huge amount of stacks. i think it'll drive you up the wall and rage.
how the hell do you find this fun??? i dont understand at all.
i agree with some other people, playing this game will give you a stroke. Graphics is awesome, then everything goes downhill from there. Selling to vendor is a job itself and its painful.
Forget about combat or crafting. Selling to vendor alone is enough to give you high blood pressure.

any other comment on that? yeah i too heard that Final Fantasy 16 sucks balls.

A bit of education on how to read roman numerals.
To be fair though the OP did incorrectly post XVI which is 16 instead of XIV which is 14
heard anything about sarcasm? yeah?? good!
Yes it is a problem currently but I'm sure it will be worked on. They seem to be working and fixing problems on a priority basis (#1 was fixing hardware mouse and lowering the UI communication with the server lag, which they accomplished at release and are continuing to work on to lower the lag).
how the hell do you find this fun??? i dont understand at all.
Because I don't let one little flaw like it being slow to sell stuff determine my opinion of the entire game?
I agree though it is the worst part for me. That's actually a good thing considering the problem is so minor and it doesn't affect 99.9% of the game.
Heard anything about paranoia? Yeah? Good!
I wasnt being sarcastic. I was genuinely helping you to educate yourself and improve your knowledge, as by doing so you improve the average intelligence of the human race.......which is a good thing.
That was me being patronising by the way, just in case you didnt catch on.
It occurred to me I haven't actually tried to sell to vendors yet. Can't you just click on the left/right arrows to sell stacks like you can when you buy things? For example, buying stacks of arrows. It would be awfully painful to click 98 times to buy a stack... you don't though.
No, this issue is not being worked on, it is put there purposely so that the game does not "hold your hand". LOL, yea that and the cut/paste areas are put there to make it harder to play. If you run over the same spot 100 times in 5 feet you become confused in direction and have to start over. But hey, it is really nice looking 5 feet of area.
the download time on the launcher.
"When it comes to GW2 any game is fair game"
You're most welcome
I'm being patronising to you because you're reacting like an angry little child. All I did was correct an error you made and point out a source of information so you could see how to read roman numerals. If I lacked knowledge on something (which I do a lot) and then posted something which was wrong, I wouldnt be upset or angry if someone corrected me and pointed me to something useful. I would feel a bit sheepish and humbled perhaps, but also glad that my knowledge has been improved.
Posting "go back to school" is something you would have done. I chose not to do that. Of course some times I am indeed a sarcastic shitbag, but today is not one of those days.
oh man this is nice. just having a beer while readin this. in months someone made me smile in those Forums.
wish you a nice evening.
hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaahhahahahahahhahaahhahahaha
Nice guys keep it like that i like seeing brainless$ kids fighting!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaha
Paranoia? You're talking about education and you say he was being paranoid?
You sir, FAIL!
In before delete I suppose.
Seriously though, I'm pretty certain Corres was just being silly about it. As in... He knew that it's XIV but since the OP wrote what he wrote, Corres wrote what he did but leaving out the *sigh* at the end because it was that obvious, and yes, I really think it was THAT obvious.
Hence, why he wrote 16 instead of XVI.
Edit: The person being sarcastic was Corres, he wasn't implying that you were being sarcastic neonwire.
I can't care less though, forumland has some pretty "weird" people... meh
Sometimes people are better off if they just shut their zipper, myself included.
The people and the friends that we have lost, and the dreams that have faded, never forget them~
i did not delete my last post! ???
however i got what you meant by that (shame on me only after your second post). i'm just used to deal with issues like that (ffxvii anyone? )as short as possible. it is kinda unusual for someone to respond with something you did.
but thank you though gave me believe maybe some people use their head.
No, you can sell stacks. The problem is for each item or stack you have to bring up a seperate window to sell it and it's currently pretty laggy. It then automatically brings up the next item even if you don't want to sell it, making you close it out and scroll to find the next item you really want to sell. It's currently pretty bad.
I tend to put up with things like that a few days after release and for a bit afterwards, especially for a game as great as this one.
Ha ha! Well in that case I had better get stuck into that humble pie as it seems I have a lot of it to eat in this thread

god damn, I am getting sick of all these FFXIV bashing threads. If the game doesn't look like it fits you, go find a game that does and post on those threads. And no, I am not a FF fan boy, I will not be playing FFXIV because I hate PVE.

one feature i liked about Aion was that button at the merchant where you click it and it automaticly sells oall the "trash loot" stuff that cant be used for anything else..
it would be lovely if they could add something similiar to ff14
You can use everything though? At least that's what I thought, I may be wrong though.
You wanted my time, so I played you. You wanted my money, I forked it over. You wanted my soul, I gave it willingly. Not to complain... but when do I get my end of the deal? And no, I don't want your flippin' carrot. If you can't do that give me back my youth and keep the change. Why don't you try chasing your own damn carrot for a change? I'll gladly hold the stick.
Neon dude, really u missed out the whole discussion or what ?
1) He wrote 16 to make fun of the poster.
2) When he said sarcasm he meant HE was sacarstic, not you...
3) I think he's really LoL'in hard atm at your patronizing him...
Seriously, sometimes...
And bout the OP, i agree it's a pain, but see the bright side, u're having a lot of crap to sell to the vendors, means u can avoid the army of noobs charging mobs here and there...
You're a Hardcore Survivor!
You not only survived the zombie apocalypse, but did it with style! Your mastery of zombie knowledge, survival tactics, and weaponry is nearly unmatched. Congratulations, for you are hardcore!
Just about.
I don't understand your complaint really, you're angry that you can't click one button and all the stuff in your inventory is sold? Things stack so you can sell many at one time, now you want stacks of stacks, how does that work?
So, you've posted on these forums for months. You record the time in between when you smile about forum posts, and you went out of your way to tell us you're having a beer. I forgot the other guys name and if yours wasnt in the quote bar I'd have forgetten yours to, but I'm going to bet all-in that the guy who isn't talking about how he's smiling and feels compelled to tell us how he's "Downin' a cold one" is better off.
Hi
Gotta admit you look a bit foolish.
