I'm seeing it at Gamestop for $19.99 in store, or $29.99 digital. Direct2drive $19.95. If you like FPS, then you should like this one. I rarely making it through a game even once anymore it seems (getting old), but I have completed this one through twice now. Actually thinking about jumping in the game again.

At $7.99 I dont think you will find it cheaper, but likely lacking much of the expansion and DLC stuff that I never
bothered with myself.
Nice find. I'll have to show that to a friend of mine.

The DLC are worth it, at least when playing with friends, which you really should do.
If you do not want to spent that much, then only buy Knoxx, which adds a bit to the story, raises character level to 61, new weapons and shields, new enemies, new areas. Noteworthy are the Circle of Duty (arena fight vs. rounds of Lance), Knoxx Armory (lots of weapons, more than you can carry, with a chance of getting some very good stuff), and Crawmerax, where you can get the best stuff, and it's a tough fight.
Moxxis is just fighting in the arena, which can be fun, but gets old soon enough if you only do that over and over.
Zombie Island is, well, a island with a lot of zombies, and while it has a bit of story on it own, it's not related to the main story. Adds new enemies aswell, but not as interesting, (limited to zombies and related things). And it isn't (unless they adjusted it with a patch in the meantime) made for high level characters.
And finally, on September 28th, they will release the 4th and most likely final DLC for Borderlands, Claptraps New Robot Revolution. Level cap increase will follow with a patch two weeks later, which will add 8 levels (so 58 without Knoxx, 69 with)
Maybe they will release the game of the year edition cheap enough to make it a better deal than simply buying everything you really want/need (instead of all)
I'll wait to the day's end when the moon is high
And then I'll rise with the tide with a lust for life, I'll
Amass an army, and we'll harness a horde
And then we'll limp across the land until we stand at the shore
