    Wow, I don't even play EQ and I was moved by that.

    Must have taken a lot of time and thought to make a movie like that.

     

    I think everyone feels that way about their first video game or MMORPG. The first one is just always special, even double so when you've spent such a long time involved in it.

    I have never played this game but the video was amazing. The game must have really moved this person to have put so much effort into a departing video like that.... Very nice.

    pretty sweet good job =) but i got No Sound! so i cant hear it my sound would work electronicly.

    iv never played EQ but i loved itimage, i resect the makers of it for making such a beautiful movieimage

    What saddened me was not so much the nostalgia, but all the places in the movie were devoid of players. Imagine Crushbone completely empty! Freeport, save for a few wandering NPC's; East Commonlands thanks to SoL (the expansion that caused me to quit), etc.

    This is why once I quit in Sep 2002, I knew it was final. There would be no reconcilations, no looking back like Lot's wife.

    I'll always treasure my EQ memories but I have no lingering regrets for leaving.

    Yeah its depressing not to have anyone in Freeport. I remember like 2 years ago I would go in the Freeport Arena screaming "Come one, come all, come to the Arena and lets have a ball!".

    I also rememeber on my magician which i never got past 10 but I got my leve l4 pet and I was al excited and thought I jsut did something so wonderful.

    No sound?!  You missed out...that was an awesome song for the second half of it - anyone know what that song is??

    After watching it, it just amazed me how much detail was put into the game, everything in the world was singular, no copy and paste here and there for the chess table, the huge bridge, anything about it...it helps me realize actually how this became such a pioneering game, and how so many people loved it.

    the song was Jimmy Eats World ~ My Sundown , it not only goes perfect with Everquest it goes perfect with real life to.

    I'm over seas an I cant play, I miss it so bad.

    That shows what eq is all about, the friends.

    Not the rush rush to level that is to easy to get sucked into now.
