what to do? help me pick a game...

hello all..

i have seen many threads on the same topic, but thought i would state my case and welcome any and all comments.  i am looking for a new game to play/take over my life.  i have played the following:

sims online

there.com (bleh, not much of a game)

star wars galaxies (liked it, but i have been there so long i need a change)

anarchy online (free version - didn't give it much of a chance)

beta'd matrix online (would like to know how LIVE is, i didn't pick up my pre-ordered copy)

 

i was thinking of WoW.  i know it doesn't have a free trial and i am always cautious about paying for something that i haven't trialled.  i am a female, and would also love to hear from fellow female gamers on their picks.

    Not female but my wife is
    She said "stick with SWG" It's the only one worth playing.

    I tend to agree. SWG is the best MMORPG on the market.

    Wives by definition are always female. I know we live in confusing times because of gay unions and such, but the word wife, is defined as female only.

    Well I was playing Guild Wars Beta this weekend and my wife gave it a try and ended up playing the rest of Sunday on it!! So I would say give it a go. Although you do have to pay to buy it, it is free to play after that.

    Im playing RYL: Path of the Emperor

    Its a new rpg and it has a free trial for 14 days. This is a heavy metal game, great layouts and easy game to paly. If you enjoy spending your time killing (oops) i mean on the game this will rock you on. You can check www.ryl.net and

    I'm not female, but judging by the enthusiasm of our Queen Zuza (Asheron's Call 2, server Thistledown, allegiance Storm) this game suits her fine!

    You can try it for free for 15 days.

    how do u play betas anyway?

    On a general note, you need to apply when the game start accepting Beta applications ::::02::

    If you meant Guild Wars, then you just need to preorder the game and you get instant access to Beta

    i preorderd guildwars yesterday and i got this Demo thing that lets me look at pictures and stuff. Then i tryed installing and it jsut stoped when it was 75% done.. Oh well, game comes out in 6 more days :)
