FFXIV PC controller is ugly

I can't believe they even made a pc controller for the game. I am sorry but that is way too funny and the guys over at destructoid.com think so too.

This one-off of a PlayStation controller was created by Sunflex in partnership with Square Enix for the upcoming MMO Final Fantasy XIV. I'm sure it functions nicely, but it's really ugly. I think the handgrips kill me. A commenter on the Kotaku source story 'shopped the controller picture to show that they were thinking the exact same thing I was. The numbers on the buttons (and below the "select" and "start" ones) are so generic looking that I feel like they didn't even bother to make this thing attractive.
The controller will be available on the day of launch for Final Fantasy XIV, September 30th. This is the first item to come from a licensing agreement between Square Enix and Sunflex.

Definitely ugly. Blegh. Kinda makes you wonder what the state of mind is at S-E for them to produce a controller for a PC Game.

Eww. That looks way too much like a playstation controller, whose design I hate with a burning passion.
The sad thing is they will charge three times more than what it is worth only because it says Final Fantasy XIV on top. It better not need to be mapped.

hmm...I actually think it looks pretty cool, but I will probably just use my PS3 controller if I decide to go the controller route.
Its a ps2 controller in white with longer pointier handles and the FFXIV logo...it should of came with the CE to make that shit worth the $80

lol i actually own one but it was way to uncomfortable and awkward for me to use >.<
and i say its for those 2 games because it showed the 2 games logo's on the box, saying it was ment for them.
It looks like a pair of fangs to me which makes it cool but whiners will always whine.
