OK he got a E3 party invite! But still, its for Gods and Heroes and I'm talking to him on IM and he's like no, I don't know, maybe. WTF!! How can I convince him he really needs to go, or send me the ticket so I can go?

K, he doesn't live that far but he doesn't think his boss will give him time off without a good reason and he says "I can't tell my boss I'm going to check out some videogame, she'd never understand". He's got one of those weirdo barely computer literate uptight bosses. I'd go just to see Gods and Heroes in action if it were me!! I'd make up some excuse! LOL do you think I can convince him to have the GAH people put my name down instead? I've put my time in the guild!

pfft, ya gotta at least take some sick days for E3. Dude gets an invite to the biggest game event and it's exclusive, and he doesnt want to go?

At least go for the Xbox2.. all of the upcoming MMOs should be there as well, right? Oooo, does he know which mmos are gonna be there?

Maybe not sick days. Sick days are always needed when you least expect them. I think E3 is in the middle of next month, so that should give him plenty of time to schedule vacation time. Or maybe just schedule around the time so he minimizes how many days he has to take off.

May 18 thru 20. I don't know what day the party is but hed probably have to take at least two of those days off to drive up there and to recover after it, lol. Wish me luck! I'm going to tell him he's a big boy and he needs to stop being scared of his boss. If he's got the sick days he's got to go. It might be easier if he wasn't just getting over bronchus (don't know if that's right) and missed a bunch of days already this month.

Heck, come to think about it, I never knew they did parties at E3. Are they real parties, or stand around and talk in a room parties?

Media Pre-Registration is closed, tho you can register at the door still. I'm all registered, plane and room booked... Only thing left to do now is count down the days and pack my bags. Oh, and listen to the wife bitch at me for going, since I'll be leaving the day after our first wedding anniversary... I told her she's lucky I'm not leaving a day earlier to have a day to site see and such and get prepared for the big event.

What are the credential requirements for an E3 2005 media badge?

Working journalists over the age of 18 who wish to register for a media badge must first submit a media registration request. Click here to complete the request form.

Yeah I was suppose to go to but, as I said can't cover travel costs. Next year though! It'll still a big year next year, Unreal3 likely, and all sorts of next gen games etc :P (yeah, I know im making excuses I wanted to be there for the PS3 unveiling )
