It's been quiet on the news front since the various convention reveals. There's a ton of information and media I'd like to see:
What are you itching to know about?
Comments
First and foremost another profession revealed. But information about crafting would be interesting.
Once you go go whack, you'll never go back.
What is this "whack", you say? Check out the links!

I wanna know about everything that they will release. All the things you said plus others. Some of the things i'm excited to know about and you haven't mentioned are:
- all the informations about WxWxW;
- how the Guilds will work with each other knowing that each guild will have a keep to defend in WxWxW;
- outside the WxWxW, will there be other things that makes competition/cooperation inside the guilds and between guilds?
- Can Alliances be formed?
- I heard something about the existence of mobs inside WxWxW. Is it true? If yes, for what purpose?
Basically this. Classes are amazing and all, I cant wait to find out more about them but the basics behind a class release are clear. We'll learn their weapons, a few skills and what they will be good at in terms of possible roles. So Im excited for all of that but what I really want to know abotu is the new systems which we dont already have much fo an idea about. WvWvW is all still very mysterious to me, only the most basic information has been released about it and I am craving more. I dont knwo about the Mobs but I have to assume so. They said it will be possible to level up in that form of PvP and I feel that Mobs would help. There will almost certainly be NPCs manning different areas, farms, mines and such along the way. But who knows, maybe some with be mod defended as well.
Id also love to hear about Guilds both for WvWvW and out of PvP. It is Guild wars adn although I've always been a little shy about joining a Guild I have a feeling that its an experience I would really enjoy with GW2. Since I am a forum RPer I think that GW2 will offer an intereesting chance to roleplay and interact in a Guild setting.
How about the other 4 classes...
And offcourse the racial skills and abbilities
Just to add more to the list, there still is so much unknown...I saw crafting make your list but how about gathering.
I am also interested in the multitude of mini games... I'd love to see some very involving mini games, like a medeival kind of soccer game where you could play one of the players or join up with your guildmates as a full team. Or a kind of racing game... Or a pub brawling mini game..
So many fun things could come from these mini games, htey add could add a full cult to the game of people concentrating on a certain mini game's competition...
But most of all i am interested how they will keep adding new content to the game, personally i think that they should add more content in patches then WoW.... And for me that doesn't have to be for free, i would be willing to pay for access to new adventures and area's.
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
Bar Brawling is definitely in
If they stick to issuing further campaigns as they did with GW1 or sell significant content patches I'm not going to mind either way. I'd like to see a combination of the two, maybe yearly campaigns and quarterly content additions.
yes, i think it's time for Crafting news
i am a crafter whore when it comes to MMO, as i believe all other crafters are also looking foward for this piece of information
how deep and complex will the crafting will be? how many proffesions will there be?
the game story info have been outstanding, as well as the game mechanics, i hope the crafting will also be second to none, and hopefully as fun as crafting in FFXIV
second is the 4 remaining classes
So What Now?
With all these people asking for Crafting stuff its made me think about it some. I always sort of liked the idea of a Crafter, and actually loved my Shipbuilder back in SWG before... yeah. Crafting in that game was rather intense; probably the best of any game I've ever played. But I think Guild Wars 2 is going to have a very interesting approach to things.
I remember hearing in one of the vidoes that they didn't want people to feel the need to craft a dozen of X just so they could get to Y. They wanted the only reason for you to craft a certain weapon to be because either you wanted, you wanted to give it to a friend or you wanted to sell it. So that sort of implies a system where if you have the recepe or blueprint or whatever it is you could make the item given the materials. But again it was all mentioned really quick in passing. So I suppose some more information on crafting could be welcome.
If you look down in my sig and follow the link, there's the only quote I've seen about crafting, they imply they shot themselves in the foot a little by not forcing you to craft hundreds of the same item to level up. They are looking in to upgrades and other items from what little I can gather. Considering that crafting in GW only consists of handing in materials to an NPC I'm not holding out too much hope for a robust, complex, involved system, I don't want to be too disappointed
On the other hand , somewhere (and i can't remember where) in an interview, it was asked what fans should be really excited about that hasn't been revealed yet, and the answer was a surprise for me at least... it was "Crafting".
Yes that is actually exactly the interview I was refering to. It does sound like they are a little unsure of how their decision will play out but that is really only to be expected until some fans start to get to it and they see how people feel. Again, I personally have never been able to be a dedicated crafter. Give me a system where I can add specialized upgrades for statistical or even cosmetic effect and I will be pretty happy with it. The bulk of this game for me is going to be story and combat so crafting admittedly takes a backseat in my mind. That being said I do hope that whatever they do they just do it well and focus on making it enjoyable for the people who do want to really get involved.
I'm going say I'm fairly confident that PvP will rock. I'm sure the starter areas will all be as good as Divinities Reach and the professions I am most curious about will be the last 2 anyway ; ).
I'd like more specifics on combat and especially eg's of skill synergy.

They could show us a PvP tournament where you pay to enter and win real cash prizes. It would be interesting this model, since they could make money through this too.
This could be great promotion for the game as well.
I play in MonsterPocalypse tournaments regularly, and some of them are P2P. If the fees are affordable for me, paid tourneys in GW2 with cash prizes, yeah I would give it a shot...
They've pretty much covered everything. But I am eager to see the crafting aspect. I would really like it if there was a crafting level (similar to what there was in Vanguard) in addition to our normal levels. And please put in archaelogy. This idea is briliant (gj Blizzard). You find relics and explore the lore. What more can a lore freak want?
And of course, I want to hear about GvG. I am not that much interested in large scale PvP and stuff like that. Sure, I will play it cause I always play everything a game has to offer but I want my organised tactical skill based PvP arenas :P (mainly GvG!)
Pleased to see that the new blog article on loot contains some info on crafting and gathering. Looks likely to be a more robust and interesting system than I was expecting
Although it is not going to happen, I would like to see all discussion of GW or GW2 removed from these forums. In my opinion, I don't think either is a true MMO and these discussion really debase those games that ARE MMO's.
Let's party like it is 1863!
Please do some research on GW2 and then come back and tell me it isn't a real MMO and why. GW1 was a CORPG and never advertised as anything else, GW2 is a whole different kettle of fish.
As I did not like the instanced GW1, I want to be sure to have an open world. Which seems to be the case. Other than that, it looks good and is on my list.
"The more you know, the more you know you don't know." - hhmmm where did I got this from??? Oh yeah, your profile.
When you start looking for all the info about GW2, you will finally understand the GW2 will probably be more MMO than any other mmorpg out there. In other words, you will know that you don't know nothing about what you were talking about.
Stop talking. Your stupid is showing.

Have you read the FAQ? Or the great information thread in this forum? How exactly do you think it's not an mmo? Do you think WoW is not an mmo either? How about AoC? If you don't consider them an mmo then what is your criteria? Enlighten us.
Clearly a troll, just ignore him instead of wasting forum space replying to him. There is no other intention behind his post other than to provoke flame wars :P
You might have confused your experience with GW1 with GW2. GW2 is an MMO.
Playing now: Cities: Skyline / Ori and the Blind Forest / Banished
I would love to see collections...
In EQ2 one of my favourite things is collecting stuff, because aooarently the collection stuff can be found mostly in those places where people don't come, it encourages me to travel and adventure intoo rare places.

I would like to see more of the Silvari, Charr, and Norn starter areas and just see more of the Silvari in general because they havent shown almost anything about them. I also cant wait to learn what the last 4 classes are. Though I am also curious how the underwater exploration/ combat will work.
