I'm probably going to buy SGW this summer of after summer (why spoil great summer for playing computer games...). I'm confused what pack to buy. Do I need to buy all upgrades or can I buy only newest one?!? I don't like if I'm going to miss some part of the game, because I don't own expansion pack.

They're going to release a full set next month I think. Includes the original game and all of it's expansions and the price was pretty nice too and not really high either.
But no, you can't buy any of the latest expansions of SWG and not having the original game.
Damn i just ordret the game but it was at a low prise, still waiting for det delivery Does anybody know what the prise for the full set is gonna be?? any ideas

Sigh, people who think, SOE - must be shite, is just pathetic, and IMO, SWG has much more endgame content than WoW.

Well SOE does have a pretty decent option.
For example I pay 24.98 for EverQuest 1, EverQuest 2 and Star Wars Galaxies.....called the SOE All Access Pass.
Each and most MMORPG games cost around 14.99/month so to pay 24.98 for THREE games thats almost paying 8.00/month for each game.
If you subscribe to SOE all access pass, like 2/3 or 1/3 games well youre not losing anything. Granted Blizzard only has one MMO out at the moment but who knows if they do another that they will have a similar plan..one price for all games.
In the meantime, we play what we like and thats all that matters......Seriously dude if youre going to get SWG (Star Wars) cause you like the movies etc you will fall in love with this game. Give it TWO weeks, it took me a while to get a feel for it, User Interface, game mechanics etc. but after a while I loved it and was a hardcore player.
Two things for ya........#1 I'm on Lowca server...Spiritowl feel free to email me if you have any questions starting up or #2 I believe my email address can be found at MMORPG here that if you'd rather feel free to email me there if you have any questions.
Good luck to ya
I played WOW during the free beta and get bored. I'm looking more than just to kill beasts. People are praising crafting and player boosted economy of SWG. And of course Start Wars theme looks and sounds nice. I have played EVE too, but I missed more interactions between the players, it was little too much Excel chart game and flying solo-missions back and forth. Some people seems to like SWG much and some says it s too much gathering. I think I need to give it a try and find out what do I think about it. I'm really looking more than Diablo-style hack'n'slah MMOPRPG. Horizons seems also very interesting, but it sound likes it doesn't have enough players right know.
Yes, 29.99$ price tag for Total Experience sounds like agood price. I bough 4-6 games yearly and this is really nothing. Of course there will be monthly fee too, but it's just two pints.
Until you cancel your subscription, you are only helping to continue the cycle of mediocrity.
WoW = extremely fun and addictive for 3-4 weeks. After that? One of the most boring mmorpgs ever.
SWG = Extremely fun and very addictive...to this date.
No wonder SOE has the largest amount of people playing their mmorpgs (with exceptions to those korean mmorpgs!)
Neo ... pretty much sums up the two games.
WoW IS fun for the first month(s). But there is little to do in the long run.
There is just nothing in WoW that can compare to the feeling when you are in SWG, standing on a hill, having a player city with some 200 houses and factories spread out in front of you ... and knowing that YOU, as an architect, have build most of these buildings. That this city stands here for over a year .. and will most likely still stand here in 3 years.
Spiky armor bits and high end Grand Marshall weapons cant compare to this feeling of achievement.
Have fun
