All I can say is, I have played WoW every day since release, now I am finished. There are no other good MMORPG's on the market right now that I am aware of, so I have decided to slip back into DAoC.

I reached level 60 around January, grinded every instance in the game 3-4 times a day, and now I don't even care to see another instance again, ever...

I had held high hopes for the honor system in WoW, only to find the implementation poor at best. WoW is now, World of Morons ganking solo'ers with their group of 5. Its not fun folks.

I am still wondering if the battlegrounds may come in and save us all from this hell that is now WoW, but based on every other patch the game has had to offer, I'd say its looking pretty grim. I believe that battlegrounds will simply be a zone to house the 40 vs 40 wankfests that are happening every day in hillsbrad. With diminishing returns in the PvP honor system and the concept of battlegrounds, it is going to ruin the whole idea. Basicly every time you kill someone you get less honor, and with the same 40 people trapped in one place, it is only a matter of time till you have killed them all.

Don't waste your time with this game, its not worth it.

WTF lvl 60 by jan.?  What is that 2 months from release.  I think you need something else besides anything on a computer.  Sounds like you burned yourself out on the game.  How many hours a day did you play?

It's not that uncommon. A good friend of mine hit 38 in less than a months worth of play time. I myself hit level 28 in 3 weeks. So, to accomplish 60 in your so called 2, isnt that unfeasable.

Besides, the game has been out for at least 4 months now.

There are always gonna be players who look at a MMOG in a linear fashion.

They are the ones that need to be spoon fed goals and have their hands held to lead them thru the game because they lack vision and can't think outside the box. They feel a need to race to max their levels or skills in whichever type of advancement system a game offers, then of course be the first to complain the game is boring and offers no "end game" content, whatever that means, or they declare they have beaten the game, as if a MMOG is something to conquer, how silly.

I have been playing since release and am leveling 5 characters, all of which are between 26 and 45, each pursuing a set of tradeskills. Not boring for me at all, and I play quite a bit though I work full time.

I think Blizzard made it's big mistake by releasing the honor system without battlegrounds.

i really do agree. they should have put them both out at the same time. what they really should have done to make muy dinero is put hero classes battlegrounds and honour system in a expansion pack that you have to buy for 50 bucks. then they would be ultra rich, and could work on the bugs and the servers, which is what they should have done in the first place.

No. 50 dollars for an expansion pack is a horrible idea.

So he doesn't play the game the same way as you, so he is playing it wrong?  You know there are people who just love playing a MMORPG with ONE character.  Some like playing lots, so who are you to say which is better.  I know alot of people who just hate and get bored to death just doing the samething with different classes.
