Which MMORPG do you think is the best???

Some ppls say WoW is truely the greatest, but the rating isnt too good from the customer service which i dont think is their fault. In my opinion WoW is the best, other forums votes think guild wars is the best what do you think???

(well ok maybe not, I haven't played WOW since the stress tests, but SWG's PvP is excellent).
SWG graphics: Just as good, if not better
SWG has more variety of things to do
SWG has better roleplay
SWG has better quests
SWG has better customer service
SWG has better PVP
I'd have to say SWG is better than WOW. IMO it's the best MMO currently on the market. Especially if you're a roleplayer.

I don't think Guild Wars is the best, just the best for me. But I have to wonder how you can mention it in your thread, but not put it in the poll? I know it's not out yet, but.. when you only mention two in the text portion, then leave one out.. that seems a little odd.
"Other" would have been good, too. I'm sure some people would still vote for UO, EQ1, RYL, FFXI, AC, AC2, and even this little game called Dark Age of Camelot you might have heard of.

Im tired of fantasy games. WoW really bored me to tears, and i never felt like leveling to 60 becuase, guess what, theres nothing to do!
I then started looking at MxO. they have a story, great graphics, great combat, and a huge world. it blowed WoW out of the water for me.
so the best has got to be The Matrix Online. (in my eyes, of course)
To be honest, none of them are that fantastic as MMORPGs. CoH and WoW are both decent games but niether provide anything close to the longativity of 'old-school' MMORPGs like UO and even the original Everquest.
I'd pick Dark Age of Camelot but it is not on your list. EQII is also a hot game.

WoW... no contest, really. Extremely well put together game, and it keeps getting better and better.

I've played all of the listed games and my vote goes for eve online all the way. Most unique one of the bunch with tons of new ideas. The rest is not bad but only solid games about the same basically.
My second vote would go to WoW for being a clone - but a damn well made clone.

Although I prefer Fantasy games, I have to say EVE is the best game I played so far ( although I still prefer the original EQ

Okay, so the company has really bad service, but you don't think its their fault? Who's fault is it then, maybe the customers fault? geeze
And the best MMO out there is the original Everquest. I am still waiting for something as good as that game to come out.

I personally like Sci-fi MMORPGs, i play alot of SWG, and EVE is a great game too, i know alot of people who play Wow and it seems to be the most popular, only thing i dont like about it is the cartoonish look, i have also heard great things about Dark Age of Camelot, in my opinion SWG or EVE would be best in my book
Oh please... star wars and those others dont even compare to WoW. WoW is too perfect already with the honor system and new patches in development constantly. Also it crushes games in worth, everquest2 needs like 20 bucks a month while WOW needs only 15 and everquest doesnt even come close

Well, i played WoW for my free month and quit. It's really a great game, but at this moment it lacks content, servers arent stable yet, and the community is non-existant. Its just a huge pool of players that generally dont have a lot to do with one another. So it was kind of disappointing for me.
As for the poll, for greatest MMORPG ever, i would definitly vote for Ultima Online. I too left it with the same reasons lots of vets did (Trammel ruined a lot), but its definitly the game wich was best put together. I mean it still has lots of features other games dont have.
At this moment i have my hopes set for Dark Age of Camelot. I just quit WoW and thought i'd give daoc a try once more, since i quit 2 years ago, and so far im having fun with it.
But since both games arent in your list, i think this is a stupid poll and i wont vote

You can's say that one is better than the other one it just doesn't make any sense. Either one is better than the other, and the only way you can test that out is to have played them to the half way point of like level fifty. If you accomplish that you still have to put into account what each game brings to the table like EQ2 in-game voice overs and beautiful graphics or WoW's rts to mmorpg transformation and their approach to each professions uniqueness.
Each game is special in their own way and saying one is better than the other is not giving the much praise, because each game has one or two little things above the other they can never be fully compared.
Besides GW is 100% way better than all of'em!

You left off many titles that have large followings (FFXI, DAoC, UO....)
Anyway, every game has its merit, its a matter of taste really. UO and DAoC have far more features at this point then WoW does. It all depends one what you want. This new wave of games is definetly better then the last I would have to agree.
Personally I would go with an even split between these. City of Heroes for its originality and fast pace, WoW for being a MMORPG where you dont have to grind your eyeballs out. And Guild Wars for raw style and content.
After saying that, Im playing Planetside right now lol. Its alot of fun in its own right also. I might even stick with it.
i had the most fun in Motor City Online.
I am having much fun in Eve Online.
