Alternative of World of Warcraft

GialoGialo Member UncommonPosts: 3

Hello!

Here is my story: I play wow since beta and have all classes lvl 80. So, now a day I can't find anything interesting in the game. For last 4 months I'm trying to find any alternative of wow.

Any suggestions?

You should play the best MMORPG out on the market...   FFXIV.  It's a blast, you can do 8 quests every 36 hours, 1 main quest every 10 lvls or so, you get to kill the same 3 monsters over and over and over till your eyes bleed. Oh, thats not all the fun..not by a long shot...    ready........  you can lvl a whole new class and do the same thing all over again. The best part of FFXIV is the crafting... you sit there and have to figure out your gonna make your rank 10 armor when you need rank 20 items to make your rank 10 armor.. then you get to pull your hair out and say to your self...  Why the fuck do I need rank 20 stuff to wear rank 10 gear...  It's a fun MMO, you should check it out...

Any standard high end WOW clone or like an above poster said Final Fantasy online are your best choices. It depends really if you want the WOW atmosphere but with a fresh start and new classes go with Alganon, Allods or Runes. If what  you want is a Challenge that is still the same basic paradigm as WOW for PURE Pve go with Final Fantasy, Then maybe Everquest2, but both of those have PVP that leave much to be desired. IF you want PVP action in the mix then maybe try WAR, it lacks content and is not as raid heavy but youll never stop PVPing.. WOW copied their BG Que system in WOTLK BTW. Also try AION, REALLY centered on PVP and has alot of PVPVE Content, which basically means you can progress with constant PVP harassment, its a game only for the mentally hardend pvp types though.. The emo thing is not my speed though.

Also maybe try some of the games that led to the creatoin of WOW, L1, L2, Asherons Call, DAOC, all still good just dated.

no offence but allods and runes of magic are just cheap copy of wow. if you can afford/own wow i dont see any reason you should be playing these game. the game has less content, item mall and more 12yr old in the community since its free. if your in for fps games and perhaps looking for a casual game until cata or other mmo. you might wana try Global agenda its similar to wow to an extent Battlegrounds, raids, dungeons, multi spec, arena and theres guild vs guild although gameplay is quite different since its fps/tps its something you might get into.
