In the next Runes of Magic content update, developers will be opening up a remote area in the Southern Janost Forest. New monsters will be introduced into the game including a new world boss. Called 'Amboriar', this boss is a mechanized warrior created centuries ago to battle demonic hordes. However, when reimbued with life by Baron Reuen von Jura, Amboriar turns against the forces of good.

Amboriar was once one of the mighty Guardians, huge mechanical warriors forged to combat hoards of murderous demons in the ancient wars. After proving their valor in many battles, the Guardians were sent on a mission to free Zandorya. However, the warriors were attacked on route to the remote continent. Amboriar, its power source damaged, crashed down the side of a mountain where its power core finally overloaded. The giant machine remained there, buried under a pile of rubble that used to be the home of a mighty dwarf civilization.

Can't wait till the new content comes! I'm getting bored currently.

  • i'm waiting for a new instance to come out. so freekin bored with the game. i'm not remodding anything until something better then RT comes out. They're gonna need to fix a lot for me to want to get hardcore with it again. Too many games coming out for me to try and stay with a fail game imo.

I remember when this game first released and everyone was all excited that a F2p mmo was finally P2p quality...

    What happened???

  • insane amount of bugs, constant "balancing" forcing people to reroll or settle and being so so, easy instances that take no skill to clear, fast level/gearing making poor players for endgame, worst customer serveice i've ever seen in a game to date,  etc.

what it really comes down to, is the game has drifted into being more of a "how much money can we get from people", and less of just a solid game. i understand it needs to be profitable, but long term profits are gonna drop. almost all of the end game players are leaving the game, and going on to something else. new players selling the in game cash shop money (diamonds) for gold, and gearing up to be top notch, then leaving when they see what the end game content is. there's no real reason to keep playing anymore. gearing up is so fast, and once you're there, you have nothing to do.

i've played a lot of other games and like RoM the best even though it was a F2P cash shop game. it use to be a really solid game, but the last 3 instances they've put out have just been a joke. like they run out of time and just said, "screw it, give them something so they don't quit, fast!"

i still log on for a lil every day to check and see if the guildies need anything, but i don't enjoy playing anymore. it's just not what is use to be.

That's sad but honestly i'm not surprised in the least.

Same bullshit happened with Atlantica, Allods and Aika. All those f2p games started off with great reviews and hype but sooner or later once revenue slows shit changes and the games go to hell.

    Its sad...
