I got MO at launch, it was ok fun at first.. (Oh I mean offical launch, not beta or open beta). I enjoyed it but there jsut was not much there going for it.
I enjoyed the game mechanics and their ideas but it defo needed more work. I was even part of a great friendly guild (Though it was close to calling slave labour lol) called Crimson Imperium Reborn.
I've not played MO for months and reading news and patch notes it seems a heck load of work has been done to it, Fishing, better combat and even more content.
Whats the verdict folks?

My only advice is for you to actually look into what exists in the game.. TODAY.. and not a list of features that are promised at some undetermined time in the future. They just had a huge patch which was supposed to upgrade the graphics and hit detection... but there has been very little (if any) content added. If you stopped playing because you didn't like the graphics then you might consider giving it another look (once they actually get the server fixed.. the patch seems to have knocked it offline for the last 12 hours).
If you stopped playing because of lack of content then I do not think you will find much has changed so far. Their main content add the last 6 weeks has been to partially implement a fishing skill.

The games great. It has improved by leaps and bounds since launch. Not only has the graphics improved but there have been many new features added to the game. If you enjoyed the basic game mechanics at launch day then you'll be absolutely enthralled with the way the game plays today.
Never trust a screenshot or a youtube video without a version stamp!
there are still some tweaks to do technically but in all this patch its a 100% improvement. its a great junp from 0% like nothing ;P. i played only the free beta and was waiting a patch like this. i never felt in such positiv way the movement of MO. yes gfx ist also great but for me that doesnt count. if you want more rp, pvp, territory controll elements etc. you have to wait maybe 3-4 weeks to enjoy the game. I start yesterday my subscribtion and i absolutly love it beside of the downside but will surley fixed.
This is just the BEGINNING.
