Best way to lvl up from 1-60 without having a hard time.
1. Start your character on CLW, the other servers are all dead.
2. Level up in your home town till about 10-15, then go to Freeport and shout for groups.
3. if you cant find groups go to Highpass and try to kill pick claws in the back of the town, you can find the level of quest you do for it at the crypticsouls.ca website, on the hunt and gather quests list.
4. once your 30, go to Dawn maiden and xp your head off, and set yoru cm's to 100% before hitting 47, this is great time to get 1200 cms before xp gets horrible again and youll have to start finding regular groups again.
5. go out to trees now at 47+, and ask to pull trees for the 60 pet groups out there. You can hit 60 in about a days worth of xp.
6. raid and enjoy cm groups.
Extra tip, when you put yourself on the Looking For Group list, your name appears to everyone in the entire gameworld, so its the best tool to look for a group. you can do this by going into the menu to Community > Group > Register. And you can find other players to team up with by going to community > Group > search.

I played this game from day 1 prefronts till sometime around when PSU online released. i was on this game for roughtly 5 years of my life.. There never was much luck at finding a group unless you sat in Freeport or Highpass or Blackwater spamming LFG, that was untill the LFG system was announced in an update. The game never really had any solo capabilities after lvl 13. Atleast not for real xp. it was always a grop grindfest and one of the top games to get a fulltime static with.
Altho this game had many faults and i was suspended and banned, repeatedly over multiple account for explioting the real dupe cheat and money dupe, and glitching there was do do. (after i have honorably and legitimatly killed everythign there was to do) i still love this game to death and some of my favorite memories will be on this game. My account is to this day, still active, altho it is not me.. i gave it away years ago when i quit, and god knows how many times its been passd on. To my memories CLW
60, Channeler, Assassin, Exorcist, Defender.

Im a Ret pally moron!!
I know, I know, I'm a little late. I can support you on the fact that its hard to solo above level 35. I don't know what you guys were doing, but It's extremely easy to solo to level 30. Back when I played I must've made atleast 20 characters on different servers in total and soloed most of them (like my monk) to level 30 in 3-4 days without much effort. The problem might be that you guys instantly go for the red/black (or whatever color they are when the gap between you is huge) monsters for gigantic xp profits when killing a bunch of whites/yellows at a fast rate can easily net you 2-6 times as much xp as that one huge monster.
It's sad to see a game like this die. This was one of the first mmorpgs I grew to love and played for years. I remember my friends and I laughing when our subscriptions ran out because a few of us knew that it didn't kick you offline so you were basically playing for free until you either got disconnected or servers went down for maintanence.
The original EQ has the same problem, hence certain classes simply aren't viable for play without investing in a dual account setup. There's simply not much that can be done. EQOA, like EQ on the PC was designed to be a group based game. It's an almost seven year old console-based MMORPG on a last gen console, so I'm actually surprised there are as many playing as there are. The lack of a low level population should only be expected.
