Hey all I am looking for a game with a semi-realtime battle system, not stuff stuff with click mob autoattack stuff, I mean stuff like I press the button and it attacks once. I've tried several of these games: DFO, Maple garbage and its ilk. looking for more of a 3d one. Dyntasy Warriors Online would fill this but its not even in cb yet.
I don't mind a grind, or pvp as long as its kinda fun, I love feeling like a 1 man army (DWO again) and such. But i'd also like the ability to team up for stuff like dungeons etc. oh and if possible try not to reccomend a Pay to Win game like Rappelz, and most of the gpotato games.
"An MMORPG could be completely diffirent from WoW. Just look at games like Dofus, Wizard101 or EVE. But as it is, most of the Western MMOs are trying to succeed by out-WoWing WoW. It's like an army of 10 sports games made about same sports, and barely none about other sports. WoW clone is an accurate description of those games, it manages to convey much information with only two words."

take a look at AoC they have made a tweak to there combat system that discripe pretty much what your looking for.
it works like you press your skill, now to execute your skills then a combination of buttons comes up, and u need to execute the button combination in the right order and time to complete your skill combo.
so if your skill is a 4 swing combination, then u need to press 4 things to execute it right, everytime you press a button then it will take the next swing in the skill combo, now if u fail in between then your skill will stop where u got to, and u can go on with another skill and try to execute that.
Dynasty Warriors = Vindictus.
Only with far less suckage (yes, dynasty warriors sucks).

The Vindictus hype has spread across these boards faster than the Galactic Empire gave up their democracy to a dictatorship.

Take me away!
Lol yeah I don't like the idea of how your locked to a char in a mmorpg, I think you should be able to be fiona and dual weild, not be forced to play some shitty tank that kills slow as hell, look at the vids on the site, Fiona looks NO fun at all to play compared to Lann. Anyway about AoC, I tried it before, Tortage blew me away then once I got to the main land I was dumbstuck asking "Wtf happened to the good game i was playing" as the game pretty much was a fast sinking ship.

I have been recently playing this game called mabinogi. You click to attack each swing. Also there is a think cloud above the enemies head saying what they are going to do (attack, defends, counter etc...) and you have to pick the right attack that will own opponent. The game gets really hard later when ever you have to take on multiple enemies and you die fast if you are blocking and countering right. Then if you get bored of fighting there is a lot of other stuff to do in the game such as cook, mine, tailor, etc....
