The same way corellia has been recently announced, I'm sure any other well know planet is going to be announced the last ones to help improve hype while we approach launch. Probably from now on any announced planet is going to be a well known one. Well just my opinion.
Naboo....... Oh god i hope not there are loads of planets they could choose from with intresting things about them that most people won't even know about unless you really are a starwars freak like me.... i just hope they don't add naboo.

I'm with ya! Tons of very interesting planets they could choose from...but I also think this is shaping up to be an "alternate" SW Universe much more than it is a "KOTOR" Universe, so Naboo would not surprise me at all.

? Care to explain the differences?
As far as I know all the things happening are happening legitimately within the Expanded Universe, that's why they asked for and picked a time period in which they've relatively enough freedom to fill in their own stuff. Still in the EU though.
I'm thinking Yavin IV might be included in the Planets still to be announced.

I can try. It wasn't a negative statement at all, I prefer it the way it seems to be shaping up tbh.
To "me", Star Wars is Stormtroopers, X-Wings, Droids, Rebels and Imperials...the stuff you saw in the movies - "my" Star Wars is EP4+.
KOTOR is supposed to be like 3000+ years before "Star Wars". I enjoyed KOTOR, but it felt very generic to me - there was nothing that you wouldn't expect to see in any sci-fi game aside from planet names - everything was Star Wars-like. The droids were kinda like Star Wars droids. The ships were sorta like the Millennium Falcon. The "troopers" more closely resembled Cylons more than Stormtroopers.
Truthfully, I wasn't really looking that forward to this game when it was announced because I really didn't care for another Star Wars-like game. I LOVE Star Wars...not generic "sci-fi". My EU enjoyment is limited to the timeline of the movies and beyond, not Old Republic times.
SW:ToR looks much more like "my" Star Wars vision than what I experienced in KOTOR and expected in SW:ToR.
edit: I think you're right about Yavin. Yesterday's video hinted very heavily at it.
not sure of the timeline, but do you think naboo will be one of the planets ? not on the list yet..
Not exactly sure but in one of the videos of gameplay footage, in a cutscene the imp agent says something about " i don't care if you are the queen of naboo" so it is possible.

I checked but could not confirm what I thought I had seen, so I wont go there. Only thing remembered on the subject and could confirm is that the starter planets were smaller than the "advanced planets".

Why the hate for Naboo? I thought it was a beatiful planet, and one of the few planets in SWG that was actually well done, so I'd imagine in a game realesed 7 years later it would be even more breathtaking. But my color being white, and yours black I'm not supprised
BUT I can actually agree it is not my first choice of planets to be added, just in my top list. The two planets I really want to see are Dantooine and Manaan but I realize that Manaan is out of the question most likely because of lore but geez I hope they announce Dantooine soon.
Edit: Oh, and I forgot all about Kashyyyk that is one planet I really hope to see.

I havent really read anything on the size of these planets yet.

Well, yeah ya got me there
I hate Jar Jars fricking guts, worst Star Wars if not the worst character ever created, but Naboo is still awsome
If we have Naboo, I hope there is an area to kill Gungans that act like Jar Jar.
Throw in an area to hunt Moiture farmers named Owen on Tat, and we could be talking some epic gaming. Bonus if you get a charred body to loot.
Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget.
Better yet, a subtle approach would be better, just a mission to kill an Owen on Tat would suffice. Charred body is a must though.
