    no you will lag like hell and i think no MMO's are playable on 56k

    My brother plays World of Warcraft on a 56k that usually connects in the high 30s or low 40s for him.  You just need a really good PC, with a really great video card, and about  1 gig of RAM.

    well, that isn't true at all..I've been able to play SUCCESSFULLY, every MMORPG I've tried...(EQ, AC, AC2, DAOC, COH, WOW) The worst problem I have is patching.  WoW is a different story...but everyone else complains of bad lag so I'm not sure if its my connection yet.
