Star Wars Galaxies: Galactic Moon Festival Returns

Star Wars Galaxies players will have the opportunity to take part in the annual Galactic Moon Festival that began on Friday, October 15th. Jabba the Hutt has promised players the scariest event of the year. Players can pick up a costume for trick or treating, listen to the Afflicted Storyteller, and scare the bejeebers out of the universe's denizens.

If you're in a trick or treating mood, be sure to approach any poor unfortunate souls hanging around and say, "Trick or Treat!" If your greeting isn't frightful enough, you may want to try using a Trick or Treat device. The person on the receiving end of your trick will be sorry they didn't like your costume, that's for sure!

If your costume is fearful enough, citizens will have Galactic Moon Festival coins to give you which can be used to purchase special holiday items that the organizer has to offer. Z'ozpheratu, has plenty of unique items on offer. You'd better get to trick or treating, though, because some items are much more expensive than others. Samples of items on offer by the organizer include house decorations, bat pheromones, Sith O' Lanterns, and a sign for you to hang outside of your house.

    This is more a Star Warsesque Halloween celebration. SOE does this every year for Halloween just a seaonal thing.

    Guys, I think Asmiroth20 refers to the now classic decision to rollout SWG:NGE on the notion that the feel of the earlier game wasn't "Star Warsy" enough... These days fairly correctly considered one of gaming history's greatest mistakes!

    These retarded events plus the TCG Loot Card Bs is what drove me away from the game, also forgot the pink flying Ewoks :P
