http://www.arena.net/blog/what-does-it-all-mean-john-stumme-discusses-war-in-kryta-survey-results

Arenanet discusses the outcome of their war in Kryta syrvey, thats being done in GW1 currently...

Its awesome how they take the results and tell us how they are going to use them in GW1.

But i have allways been a strong beleiver that the War in Kryta expasnion was only created as a testing ground for GW2.

Some very interesting results :

- How interested are you in seeing new stories that evolve the game world?  80% was very Interested

- How interested are you in seeing stories that explore existing game lore?  71% was very interested

I think we might see some of these back in the expansions for GW2 too...

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

Nice, i like it how they continue the War in Kryta with follow up events.

Also the fact that you can bring along 7 Heroes in the near future opens up a lot more possibilities in GW.

the results of survey, especially answers to these two quests will be always big %, because the questions boiled down to "Do you want new content for Guild Wars or not?" and it's hard to imagine players voting no for new content

I love that ArenaNet are focusing on not just GW1, but also GW2 which puts GW2 in a good light automatically for the future.

I love what John Stumme said in this blog post, and that we will be receiving 7 hero parties soon, along with an outpost for party grouping. Can't wait to see how this all pans out!!!

They should be reducing the numner of heros not expanding it.   If they got rid of heroes people would actually have to play to gether, like they did before Nightfall introduced heroes. I'm so looking forward to GW2s complete lack of heroes and henchmen.

Gotta realize, though, they're doing this in preparation for when most Guild Wars players will make the switch to Guild Wars 2. In order to play the most difficult content, a player will need 7 heroes with optimized builds that synergize  with one another. They just want to make sure, even with no one else in the game world, that the Guild Wars series could be played as a single player game.

Once you go go whack, you'll never go back.

What is this "whack", you say? Check out the links!
