As part of NCSoft's aggressive new plan to take its stable of games cross-platform and to keep players connected to the MMOs they love, a new app has been released for Aion players. Called Aion Exchange, the app give players the chance to stay connected to the game by letting them view characters, track auctions, search for items and to create a wish list.

Have you always wanted to be able to track Aion Auction trends or view your auctions from wherever you are?

We are pleased to introduce Aion Exchange! Aion Exchange is an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad application that enables Aion MMORPG players to check character info, Broker status, and item price market statistics. You can use this portable reference to track game characters, monitor auctions in progress at the Broker or even create a wish list and track price fluctuations for items you are interested in!

Aion Exchange is $1.99 on iTunes. Read more here.

just a note the WoW auction version actually requires a monthly subscription if you actually want to sell and buy from the mobile app.  Otherwise it is used for just looking.  Depending on functionality if it allows you to purchase or sell directly from mobile device than it is chaper by far than the WoW version since it is a one time fee.

wiredknights, you must be quite the wow fanboy no?

So, NC wants to fill their pockets with a 1,99 app... you seem to forget or just  dont know that the wow one has a monthly subscription. Not to mention the minipets for 10 euro and the mounts for 20, and the cards for 3,99 the booster, and the magazines for 30 a year, and the expansion for 39,99, and etc, and etc, etc...

    Just shut the mouth

The thing that is weird here is that it gives access to price histories on the broker - something that isn't accessible in the game itself or anywhere else. In short, people that have this app will have a big trading advantage.

40K US people playing on 4 servers. If 5% buys the app; that's a whopping 4000 dollars. I think they can't even pay the electricity bills with this one. Perhaps the app was ordered when they still thought to have 1M western subs...

Nice for the few players left though. More tools connected through the internet is always better as long it is not game breaking.
