Everquest II and Extended, have questions!

in Everquest II

I love Vanguard and want to use the Station Access so I can play EQII as well.  But my main question is if EQII and the EQII-extended servers are the same? Since I see alot of people on Extended I'd like to be there too but I don't know if EQII and the extended are the same servers? Does Access pass give you access to Extended?

    Extended has its own servr, freeport I believe.

    Extended is free to play, you dont need a subscription or access pass.

    I would advise against trying out the Extended experience if you plan to play EQ2 for the long haul.  There are numerous threads here detailing how you would actually have to spend more money than if you just bought the latest expansion and subbed.  Extended is great if you want to trial the game, but if you plan to play for the long haul and especially if you already have a station pass I would just play the full version of the game.

    Access pass gives you the equivalent of a Gold membership on the  Extended server

    EQ2 fan sites
