Last weekend, the Gaming World Entertainment Network (GWEN), Malibu Barbie, and Gamers Giving Back sponsored an in-game Guild Wars event called "Pink Day in LA". During the event, players went to Lion's Arch and dyed their armors pink in support of breast cancer awareness. With Arena.Net's support, the event has raised almost $11,000 to date.
“I was totally amazed when we hit our original goal of $1,337 early,” Malibu Barbie said. The Lion’s Arch districts were packed from the start of the event, and the donations really started rolling in. Players bought an amazing 292,904 vials of pink dye over the weekend, showing immense support for the cause.

I didn't bought 40 dyes to support the breast cancer thingy. I just thought it was atemporary event and bought it cuz it looked good...
i am proud to be a gamer and particularly a GW fan for reasons such as these !!!
way to go fellow gamers !
Would have been better if they spent a cent or something like that for each vial bought, but ithey were probably expecting the run.
I'll wait to the day's end when the moon is high
And then I'll rise with the tide with a lust for life, I'll
Amass an army, and we'll harness a horde
And then we'll limp across the land until we stand at the shore
