Any Halloween stuff going on?

Just curious... I'm a big fan of in-game holiday events and was wondering what or if might be happening for Halloween in this game.

yep its the best halloween stuff Ive ever seen. the whole game is a nightmare of ghoulish proportions.
If there was a patch or add on... the next one is in December... and it to fix UI... only the UI and small bits of marketplace.
No Halloween on FFXIV... and SE is too busy trying to fix their masterpiece, whenever they stop counting money from Collector Editions and actually do something.
Even Tera has spooky screenshots, and it isn't even out yet. *sniff*

It'll be funny if SE come out with a press release, lauding "Over 400k units sold" or something to that extent. I'd Love to witness the backlash if ever a thing like that should occur.
Events? are you serious?
In order for events to take place the game maker has to actually care if we have fun or not....
They've already proved they don't care about the gamers....just the cash flow ^^

I wasn't focusing on a specific number of units sold, just the outcome of such a possibility - of which SE being a very proud, arrogant company releasing a press release like this wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Actually numbers indicate that they've sold probably a little over 600,000 units. I know they sold close to 300,000 units the first week in just the Americas alone.

Actually it is not true. There is a patch mainly for the UI already in November and a second one in December. One more reason to betetr read the patchnotes and informations on the offical side than from people that dislike the game with every cell in their body.
Yea, you should get you info from Fan Boi Base, and buy any crap SE sells you....
In fact I got some steallr pocket lint, eating it will make this game better, promise.... 50 dollars.
i get people not liking it...but at this point the daily and constant bashing is beyond what in some's opinion as well deserved. i mean it's gone past trolling to just plain sad. i get it, you don't like it....but christ on a cracker move on. what's wrong, the mmo of your choice is having a patch done? or maybe it's expansion isn't out? or is it a question of your in trasition between your old one and what your going to start playing....you're bored and decide to come here and just keep beating the dead horse? i don't get it, you don't like it, won't play it, but yet you have nothing better to do than be on here to what...keep reminding people? at this point you're all just annoying the crap out of me or anyone reading except yourselves. i'm done defending the game, i know it's flawed....but i still enjoy playing it. i'm sorry it's not for you....but if you really have this much time to waste on telling everybody on here everyday all the damn time about how you don't like it...find a hobby, girfriend, new mmo to bash, something to fill the void in your day. seriously OP's question was "any halloween events?" and the first answer was "they suck and they're too busy counting money blah blah.." so i'll answer the question, i've seen nothing for a halloween even...but i did see a guy with jack-o-lantern treats in his bazarr.....ok i'm done...go back to square bashing.

From what I understand there won't be a holloween event this year, but there will be a x-mas new year one coming in december.

Thanks for that... things seem to have derailed a bit, but I understand that that's expected with the emotions stirred up to date. I tend to look at events like this as indicators of how much the company really enjoys it's own product and how much fun they like to have in general. I'm currently back in the old Guild Wars for their Halloween which is hard for anyone to beat and a blast. To me, that shows a lot of heart directed at their game.
I hesitate to commit to games that won't commit to themselves in the sense of just having fun with their own stuff.
