how cookie cutter is this game?

in Guild Wars

ive been looking over fansite and over the main site quite a bit, downloaded the movies and been snooping around to see whether i should buy this game tomorrow or not, but i cant seem to find how many different suits of armor there is, how many different weapons there are, different hair styles, physiques, etc...  pretty much the best i can tell is that everyone is a male or female human of varrying heights, and beyond that i cant seem to find any information.

so anyone who is playing/has played, pls let me know about the customization aspect.

    The game play is pretty different from most other mmorpg's its good!

    theres nothing new about it. its just a rpg with a big lobby (towns) and some pvp areanas. i do like the subclasses though how you can start with them (unlike FFXI grrr image)

    It's like a refined version of Diablo 2 that focuses entirely on PvP. Even the instances are there only for you to level up your character and get equipment.
