That is true. Not only that, but you can get to max lvl in less then a week depending on hours played a day. The game is built around the end game content. So everyone is suppose to be max lvl to play.

yo u gotta be joking with me. shit this is beginning to sound just like wow all over again except it took 2+ months to hit 60 in wow for me. please tell me the level cap will be raised soon.
Your totally missing it comparing it to WOW. All the content in guild wars is end game content. Where as in WOW is just less grinding then normal MMO's but still involves grinding/questing to get to lvl60 where there is little content.
And btw, since you strike me as a grinder, play SWG and go for jedi. The REAL grinding doesnt start til your a jedi.
I was also wondering about this, it has to be raised, but with the amount of quests u need to do to lvl, and the game being basicly all quest based wud make u hav to hav 1000's of quests ingame, which i dont even think even guil;d wars could do
Toughest rater in the world Try to impress me, please, i dare u

Thats just not going to happen, if thats what you want play evergrind. This isnt your traditional MMO. It isnt about grinding.
well i play these games to make my char more and more powerful. they will at least have quests where we can raise our attributes/stats higher permanently right? or will a level 20 guy who has been questing for a year be equal to someone who just hit 20 a week ago?
Sorry dude, I dont think this is your type of game. The only edge you'll have is the one you bring to your character. Theres not PWN you items, or what you want, winning because your higher lvl then the next guy. This is exactly what the developers of the game, DONT want.
If that what you want, play WOW. I hear ganking ppl with less lvls then you is popular over there. Dont forget to CC(corpse camping) thats lots of fun.

ahhh damn. now i'm assed out 50 bux. i might as well wait out for diablo 3 now.
Hey now...dont forget there are TONS of skills to be had. Once your 20 it doesn't mean your done building your character. Theres lots of different skill combos to experiment with and lots of different weapons and armor to work on as well. Theres more to this than just level. Its about using skill combos strategically.
Sorry but by raising the cap significantly will just contradict ArenaNet's philospyy of 'victory determined by skills rather than hours played" you've heard that many times I'm sure . They got rid of tedious elements, and minimized grinding because after all it is a CORPG. CORPGs are fast-paced competitive RPGs. That's also why there is no crafting professions.
Just remember that you still continue to grow after level 20. It just wont show level 21 to other people(only to yourself) and you max health caps at level 20. But you still gain exps and skill points which is needed to purchase skills and widen your range of tactics.
Playing now: Cities: Skyline / Ori and the Blind Forest / Banished
Though they don't completely rule out the idea of raising the level cap, it's important to understand why it's so low ..and raising it (by any great amount at least) would be contrary to the spirit and intentions of the game design.
Originally posted by CYBraX I bet they do it only for like 1 month, cause its just the opened this game and the first month the buyers would be like the same lvl.
Hi, welcome to Guild Wars. It might be wise to first learn a thing or two about the game before making "bets". Enjoy
