G-string armor always gets me.  What is up with eastern developers that they have to attire women in such ridiculous outfits?

Um, did we forget who the makers of Hentai are?

Recently in Guild Wars 2 forums people started complaining that we didn;t see any string armours on females and ANet should make some sexy armours. Sad.. really sad.. People don't want to see realistic armours they want fap material that is all.

Really, that's boring. They would just be a guy with longer hair.

Yeah some games put a little too much emphasis on females, but it's better than seeing yourself in just a plain robe or a huge set of armor with no features.

    Agreed with TehKlend.

I'm a girl and I don't really mind sexy armor at all, in fact I prefer it to clunky ugly armor. Some games do take it too far, but I'd rather have my character look sexy than like a dude with long hair lol.

Because we all know "dudes" can't have long hair. Derp.

"Kindred" vampires, though? Really? I hope White Wolf sues these fuggers and they get sent to the Chinese gulag.

  • I don't know, though I dont play as females, for me, detail and look of the armor is more important than if it is revealing or not.

And in Forsaken World, you will meet a lot long-haired dudes.

Yes becouse making a sexy armour = making it almost non existant. Some people lack imagination and it's sad that devs lack imagination too. thank god there are a few dev houses which see the difference.

Interested in this game but not a real big fan of them using a Kindred race and vampire class, we'll see what White Wolf/CCP does in regards to that I suppose.

I want to see some more Bards and Priests.

    Lord of the Rings Online.

Vanguard had the most realistic armor for both genders until it was acquired by SOE, who removed most of the upper body armor from females to reveal their midriffs.

good developers will offer both options. or to be more accurate a wide range of variety in armor/weapons/lvldesing. but that's also nothing too new - the more time/money you have the better will be the result.

From my point of view: I like both, I guess... if sexy and full body armor could meet each other somewhere in the middle of the story, then it would suit my taste best. 8)

In addition to the that, the last thing that is left to say is: screenshots look fkn ugly :D

FW Female Warrior armor level 30+ = metalclad from top to bottom, so that's actual armor for you. Vampire armors from 30+ get less and less revealing too, the same trend as other classes. Don't look at the 10 and 20 and assume the 50 60 will be the same.

Ah you have nailed it, every 10 levels you get the same armor as everyone else.  So typical of a Perfect World game or most eastern games for that matter, you can look at someone and figure out their level strictly by the armor they are wearing.

Nice to see all the pretty vampires out on a nice bright day. Do they sparkle too, or do you have to buy the glitter from the cash shop?

    What a joke.

Come on Whitewolf, bring us the real shit.

White Wolf didn't create either Kindred or Vampire, both words have been around a long time, so if they did decide to sue it would be an uphill battle.

Lost my mind, now trying to lose yours...

Way to make a fuss over the "oh so oversexed revealing properties of female armors", considering that out of ALL races and classes, the only females with anything revealing in their armors are kindred assassins and kindred vampires(which is not surprising considering kindred race is built all around deception, sexual appeal and seduction). Kindred are even described in chinese press as "ghoulish undead that use their sex appeal to appear alive"

    But thats kindred.

As for other races, I was actually surprised that, considering the game was made in asia, people actually wore what they should according to the class.  I mean, mages, both female or male, actually wear robes instead of lingerie(*cough*terra*cough*) and this, for example, is one of  "normal" female armors for human warriors:

Talk what you want, but oversexed-sexism-filled, this  game is not

Point well taken Yuui, it is indeed part of their race lore and the other races do indeed have far less revealing outfits.
