sure but it's nothing like this game except for the graphics.

It does have a borderlands look, which I quite like.
seems like these guys been watchin GW2 alot and are on a great track. when this game goes live ill spend 50 bucks just for the hell of it. beacause of the effort they have done to provide nice gameplay for free :-) ( any company that does new and atleast trys and ignores WoW's ways ill support ) .
Item mall dont' mean it's free.
And you'll most likely have to grind alot if you want to play it for free.
Even if it's F2P I'll play it. I'll take the risk. This is definitely a great game of skills so even if you spend so much on item mall but you don't have the skills, non-item mallers will still own you.
Its not an mmo its a large scale team based FPS
As for the persistant and open world clain i will need some proof.

This game does look fun. I've missed FPS since Quake 2 stopped being popular. This looks like the game to bring me back to the scene.
Watching GW2? Those game mechanics have been around since the 90's. GW2 has nothing to do with it.
Looks interesting, although I'm a little sceptical about the cash shop. Yes they say "no unbalancing items", but that's what they all say. They have to say it - what else could they say? So it's a meaningless thing to say really.

Not bothering me to much tbh. I remember playing quake 2 and being able to take guys down who had energy armour, 200 health and quad damage.
Unless the cash shops starts selling aim bots.

Something else to note is the devs will have a cash shop, but are adamantly against any item giving an advantage over another player who doesn't buy it. It will likely be stuff like visual armor upgrades, etc.
This looks amazing and is at the top of my radar.
Because it's more of a team co-op game than an MMO. Not that that's a bad thing.
I don't like the art style of the game. Will pass on this one.

Anyone that gets excited over a trailer needs to have their head examined! Only when we can actually to actually play the game can any determination of it's greatness be decided. Many of us have seen trailers that look good, only to find the gameplay greatly lacking or watch the company go belly up with nothing to show for it.
Of course that's true...but it's nice to know that the link I posted is a video taken from actual test play by a friend of the person that wrote the review.
....also the devs behind this game have a great track record and the Lead dev was one of the people responsible for Tribes (and yes, WoW lol), one of my favorite games of all time
