the 60 minute wait is a bit irratating between rifts.
In Loch Modan where the shit at? I am tired of waiting around for these things only to find them destroyed.

WTH are you crying about? This is going on for a while. Then they'll have the Deathwing destroying places. Then they'll have the elementals sack Stormwind. Blizzard admitted there aren't any world changes til 4.0.3(a). (the (a) is important) You'll have PLENTY of time. No reason to cry about not completing it on the first night.

Have fun everyone! This is truly an epic time!
If it is anything like the zombie invasion before the WotLK expansion then this event will ramp up considerably. I wouldn't worry too much right now if you can't find the rifts, the rifts or the monsters coming from the rifts will find you.
I finished all the quests plus getting the rift achievement last nite.
I like the doomsday cult story line much more than the rift thingie. Hopefully it will continue and we get to kill a boss (of the cult) in the future.

I don't think loot drops are the point of this event.
They will speed the spawns up next week I bet. I have seen all the elementals die from a rift in twenty seconds.
