Nowadays, I just log in for the communirty. My guildmates and friends are very nice and I miss them if I'm unable to chat with them for a long time.

My game of 6 years is EQ2.  I log on to raid twice a week, at that point the game is great fun and I enjoy it.

Rest of the time I play LoTRO for storyline and world immersion.

Whenever an expansion comes out in EQ2, I log in pretty regularly for 3-6 months, then it's back to doing something else outside of raids for rest of expac. (expansions are once a year).

I usually play with my Significant Other and I have fun doing stuff with her in general.  But usually if I get bored ofplaying I logoff.  I do play without her and she plays without me at times but yes we play because its fun.  If were not having fun, were logged off.  I am also logged in when I want to arrange my inventory or scroll around the auction house to get me sleepy for bed ^_^

I've returned to Guild Wars for the past couple months and am having a blast again. Took a few years off and played WoW... man, that turned into a freakin' grind-job. There's a game I logged into to work instead of play.

I have been hard pressed to find an MMO that can offer me the depth of oldskool games. I also prefer games without classes. Until something comes along that I feel isn't just another Clone. I think I will just stick to Independent and Casual games.

Ive done my random search of MMO games today what to play for a week or two to slowly pass the time!

Came up with company of heroes and this monster forest online (turn based pet game like digimon/pokemon).

Im hoping these two will last a few weeks. Also got my 2 week trial of Darkfall and the 2 week trial for WAR (reactivation trial). I got WoW still installed, always do and always patched but never know when to go back for a month see how it goes, get bored and do something else lol.

But honestly - i play MMOs to socialize now rather play because i get more kick out of that now till something awesome comes out - what will be next year *drool* so many good titles coming out. Will eventually be subbed to a couple at a time i think. GW2 not included ;D.

i just subbed to WAR and i'm having fun so far.  the only thing that sucks is when your faction is loosing it's no fun and the PvE isn't so great, so unless i feel like blowing cash on heals i'm kinda forced to just log off.

Taking a break from MMOs is a healthy thing to do every few months. Having some fun with real time strategy but (as always) I plan to return to MMOs. WAR will be my place, since it allows for casual friendly and immediate PVP. Eyes forward to the new releases, unfortunatly none in 2010 (rather sparse MMO year this is).

I started playing guild wars again to get some stuff i still missed for the HoM, and then i found the game is 20 times more fun than it used to be when i last played it.

Yes, I only play  5 hours a week, if that.

“It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”

I'm occasionally playing GW, there's really nothing else out there that appeals to me and since I don't have to pay for GW, I log in when I'm bored and have a few minutes, but otherwise rarely bother.  It's been close to a month since I played, who knows when I'll feel like doing it again.

Played: UO, EQ, WoW, DDO, SWG, AO, CoH, EvE, TR, AoC, GW, GA, Aion, Allods, lots more
Relatively Recently (Re)Played: HL2 (all), Halo (PC, all), Batman:AA; AC, ME, BS, DA, FO3, DS, Doom (all), LFD1&2, KOTOR, Portal 1&2, Blink, Elder Scrolls (all), lots more
    Now Playing: None
    Hope: None

I don't play any MMORPGs currently.  Been months since I did so and I'm terribly underwhelmed with the current stock of them, and I'm also wary about the big name titles coming down the pipe.

I check up on MMORPG news to hopefully see something interesting and engaging.  But right now, Civ 5, Fallout 3, Fallout 3 New Vegas, and ARMA 2 suit my gaming needs.

"I have only two out of my company and 20 out of some other company. We need support, but it is almost suicide to try to get it here as we are swept by machine gun fire and a constant barrage is on us. I have no one on my left and only a few on my right. I will hold." Still have Lotro installed since I have a lifetime sub, but haven't logged in for a while (not since at least a month or two before FTP). To be honest I think MMOs are just too dull across the genre at the moment.. just can't be bothered the whole grind grind grind -  new hat - grind grind grind - new boots... rinse and repeat. They're all essentially the same and have been for years. Seriously, step back and look at them... we've not really had anything actually new for a very long time indeed.

I'll pick up SW:TOR just because I loved the KOTOR games. The fact that it's an MMO is incidental really. Whatever it is in MMO terms, as long as it feels like KOTOR I'm not going to care. I love a good story.

I am however having a blast in Fall Out New Vegas (though it desparately needs a performace patch... the couple of other bugs I've encountered I can live with). Already planning my second play through and I've not even done the main storyline completely yet. If I could put my finger on what makes single player RPGs such fun, and inject that into an MMO I'd be rich. There's always something missing in MMOs. Maybe TOR will be the MMO that does that, time will tell.

Where's the "not playing any mmo at the moment" choice?

If there was one, I'd be one of the votes.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

Sad how many people confuse "it's something to do" with "fun".
