I tried just looking for something new and I didnt know before what a VERY GOOD GAME it is... It combines MMORPG, FPS and RTS (yes, RTS).This market really needs new things like this, genre combination in a new and very fun way instead of making another WoW clone.

Im having a blast, very good graphics, strategy, lots of fun, polished (no bugs in 2 days of playing xcept for server down one time).

And its F2P.

Congratulations to the developers. They did a gem. A rare gem...

But, but, but he attacked me when I was low life!

Yes, HE DID, why you cant do the same to him?

Uf that will take me a lot of time...

HERE IS YOUR QUEST!

Too bad it hasn't received an update in over a year, has a slim playerbase that keeps on losing, some server issues make the game either laggy as hell or just don't let you connect to the server at all.

The company behind it is completely focused on their latest release, Heroes of Newereth ,and is neglecting the already undermoderated Savage 2.

It's a game that has enormous potential but just can't get the playerbase it needs to make people realize it's true quality.

Everytime I see people writing about Savage 2 in glowing terms, I feel like clarifying some things about the Savage history.

Why do you guys think went Savage 2 free-to-play after less than a year? The answer is simple: because the Savage community which was supposed to play the game didn't play it. It rarely happens that a sequel gets close to no support and it rarely happens that a community feels so betrayed. 99,5% of the people playing Savage 2 these days either don't know Savage 1 at all or aren't any good at it (this is a realistic value, no exaggeration). The communities are entirely divided.

In case anyone wants to know why the vast majority of a community rejected the sequel, watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvZJqZiZ_as
