What MMO's have these features?

Hi folks,

I'm curious if you know of any MMO's out there that have these features...

- Assignable/customizeable stat points as you level up

- Assignable/customizeable skill/talent points as you level up

- Monsters that are weak to certain elements and resistant to others

- Armor that can be customized to be resistant to certain elements and/or give other stat buffs

- Weapons that can be customized to deal elemental damage and/or other stat buffs

I know that Ragnarok Online has these features but I fear it's going the way of the buffalo sooner rather than later.  Are there any others out there?  Please point me in the right direction.

These are pretty common things, I don't remember all games that have these things and maybe I didn't pay attention to something like mobs being susceptible to certains kinds of dmg.

Thanks for the reply!  I see that you mention AO, but which AO are you referring to?  Allods?  Atlantica?  Something else?

I was hoping to find a game that had all of the features, but I fear there's not really anything else out there like that.  DDO would be acceptable - it's character progression looks to be pretty customizeable, but I just can't get into the game for some reason.  I tried it but was never hooked.

I believe arieste was referring to Anarchy Online.

The only mmo I'm actively playing now is Allods. For what you want, it only has the first 2 with lots of customizeable stats and skills.

For stats, you have 14 different stats that you can choose from and you get 1 stat point per level.

For skills, they kind of have like 2 different trees. One is a talent tree and the other is a ruby grind that you get starting at level 10.

And gear you have do have elemental resistances although not sure if that's what you were talking about.

Asheron's Call is the game you're looking for, op.

Yep.  Asheron's Call has all of that.

If you're willing to try an older game, give Dark Age of Camelot a shot.  Player crafted armor/weapons, with enchanters that can apply your choice of stats/resists/other crap, you can dye them whatever color you want and they come in different designs as well.

Mobs are resistant to different things.  Anything from piercing/slashing/crushing physical damage to heat/cold/spirit/energy type magical damage.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

    Definitely Dark Age of Camelot.

It doesn't matter if you prefer pve or pvp
