What class is most looked after for raids?

Hi,
I wanna create a new character to be able to do raids on higher levels. (I have a high lvl hunter, but not many groups want a hunter =( ) I guess many want a priest, but I don't like priests...
What is most sought after in an instance group or raid?!

I know that warriors are very much needed in instances. Cause you need someone to take the hits.

Mediocre - 70 Undead Discipline Priest - Tarren Mill (EU)
Like super said the warr. Also priest or druid and mages for there dps and water supply are good.
Rogues are welcomed for there dps, but everybody is a rogue almost lol.
Every class is needed/wanted except for rogues in high-end PvE raids.

Sorry but in the defense of everything sane I must correct you. It's not that people don't want hunters.....it's more like people don't want 5 hunters in their 10-man groups. Most times people will take 1 in a 5-man, 2 in a 10-man, 3 in a 15-man so on and so on. It's just that you have picked a class that is heavily populated. Just like rogues. So when it appears that you(your class) is being dissed, it's actually your spot is already occupied. Same thing would hold true if priest were in abundance.........I know I know.....wishful thinking.

Priests are most sought after, then warriors. If you don't like priests, maybe you should try a druid (healer/tank) or paladin (healer).
The least sought after, (I think only because there are so many of them) are rogues, then hunters.

Since when is a druid a healer/tank and a paladin just a healer? O.o More likely other way round. I know that druids get forms etc but they arent poular in groups when they are the healer and they insist on meleeing and letting others die. Paladins are healer /tanks hence their armour etc.

I was giving examples.
Hunters may be mostly useless in 5-man instances, but in raids they are pretty darn useful. In MC, at least 2 are required to beat Magmadar. Ranged DPS is very important in all high-end raids.
