Is GW one of those games where you click the ground to move?

You can do either, point and click or movement keys.

Yes, you can click on the ground to move around, although most people find it more comforable to use the WASD controls since it gives them better control, especially in heated PvP matches.
wasd for movement or mouse click to move... viewpoints are very flexible...
