Starting to play SWG

Hi all
I just got SWG and not sure if i shout open it, with all the bad thinks im reading about the game and are all the ppl leaving SWG? Im not sure im gonna open the game if all the ppls are leaving soon. Is the game really gone that bad?

I left the game, but its not because the CU is so bad, per say. Its because its so darn different, that its a new game. New game, that does not = SWG to me. Instead of fixing the old, they came in with the new.
Theres nothing wrong with that, as long as the game survives the transition.
But instead of learning a new old game, which I would be constantly comparing to the old version, I decided to play a game new to me.
Its not so much that the CU is so bad, its just not what many of us long term SWGers consider to be SWG.
Entering the game at this point, may not be a bad thing. You wont be behind everyone's learning curve, because even 2 year veterans have no idea whats going on.
If you're interested, I say give it a whirl!
You may have to put up with people complaining for a bit, and some bugs need to be worked out, but that wont last but a month!
I really hope that *insert game name here* will be the first game to ever live up to all of its pre-release promises, maintain a manageable hype level and have a clean release. Just don't expect me to hold my breath.

If you never played SWG before you wont see 90 % of the things people are now angry about. The game changed, but they dont want to change.
Expect some bugs in the first weeks. Thats normal for any large patch and new expansion in any other MMORPG. They will fix it.
For every current player leaving the game, there is another coming back to the game because the combat revamp finally fixed old imbalances in the game and made it harder (old buffs were like playing in a kind of god mode .. nice at first, mind numbing boring in the long run).
If you want some help at the start, I have a standing invitation to the server Naritus, where you can find me by sending a /tell or in game mail to Novarider or Delos. Several of the MMOPRG.com readers here have joined me there already. But there are several other players here that will welcome you to other servers and help you getting started with some cash, items and advice.

I did open it and i have startede to install the game now. I havent played the game only tryed the trials so havent tryed all the things yet.
