Forsaken World: Introducing the Warrior

Perfect World Entertainment has updated the official Forsaken World blog with news about the Warrior class. Long a standard in MMOs, the Warrior is a specialist in killing and maiming. The Forsaken World Warrior is able to use two stances, one specializing in offense and one for defense. The Warrior also has access to lightning-based attacks.
Also available to the Warrior class are a variety of lightning based attacks. These attacks provide the Warrior with the means to both strike multiple targets simultaneously, as well as slow the movement speed of all foes - even while they are mounted.

aye this company is epic fail imo already, dropping the ball and giving out thousands of beta keys that don't actually let you login is terrible business practice and probably one of the best ways to piss off any sort of player base.

PWE dont deserve my money no more, because they treat their old costumers as a mount of trash like they did with me.
I am subscrive in pwe since 2008 i already spend more than 5000 dolares and now i m like trash to them.
is ridiculous the way they managed the closed beta phase doing some kind of P2W, and ignoring their costumers wish i never saw such atitude in all my experience in mmorpg games.
Dont forget they are rich now and we are trash..
great work pwe i bean all this time defending your company from bad feedback but right now i will be 1 more who wanna see your company faill in near future because u loose all honestity and respect from your costumers and good luck with liers and machine of making money. PWE has used and abused its members, we have been misled and used as puppets in their publicity campaign.. they sent mega beta keys with invitations only to drop a bomb on us telling us we didn't make it with their story on the phase's. Now, they want all the unhappy crowd, which they created, they want us to play games and have contests in their publicity stunt on facebook and such.
I personally have never felt such utter abuse by a gaming company in my life and i'm not the only one who feels this way.. you know the saying, "what comes around goes around", and I really hope they get theirs because what they did is NASTY and they should be accountable for misleading and causing the distress which is very apparent on their forums..

Oh cry me a river, open beta will soon be here and you will get your play time. Whining about something as ridiculous as not getting in a closed beta is not a very classy act. CB's are generally only available to a few.
maybe you should learn how to read properly, describing what the company did and crying about not getting is 2 different subjects.. I care less about getting in, seeing how the client doesn't work on my system anyways.. my complaint is being misled.. learn how to read befor making comments that don't apply?

Dunno about you guys, but I got a letter apologising for their misleading information. Hey, at least they tried.
Plus its closed beta, account is gonna get wiped, sometimes I asked myself, "why bother going nuts over this?" If I want to test stuff, I would've done my uni work first lol :P

sure , most of us got a letter of apology.. i'd accept anyone's apology if in fact they did something to me accidently, but when someone delibrately screws you, its no accident and deserves no respect. I have withdrawn myself from FW games and will never support a company who use such tactics to gain publicity.. they still are doing it and you know the saying "what goes around comes around". Their forum is a mass of very unhappy , I had to withdraw from there also, it was sickening to see. They made me feel abused and humiliated me and NEVER did honor the beta key and invitation they sent me , or MANY MANY OTHERS, the forums speak for themselves.
Knowone cares if the account gets wiped, thats not our point, its not anything about playing, its about the principal, about being misled, about being used in a publicity scheme.. get it right
companies who send out beta keys for other companies should follow up too.. eventually it will reflect

Maybe instead of grudging over every scheme and fail, look at the brighter side and let go. It could still be a great game.
Even if it turns out to be a epic fail, many great mmo are on the horizon, just play those, no need to sulk over just one game.

Not getting in is one thing. Getting a code, being "accepted to beta" according to their website and then being denied access is another. PWE basically cock-teased thousands on this deal and people are understandable upset.
indeed they did, but whats worse is there are 1000's of upset people who believed they would have access, on the day the beta started, then got a bomb dropped on them. It was the provibial hannging the carrot in front of their noses.
FW took advantage of our disadvantage and has added insult to injury, holding contests on facebook and then the administrator picks 10 out of about 1000 comments just to generate mega publicity at our disadvantage and everyone hates it but they really want that dangling carrot.
Just recently we notice all the banner ads from the "big business" companies that they now show on their header.. now thats another form of taking advantage of us after misleading us, making huge bucks because 1000's of people, want, need to chase that carrot or go and complain on the forums and generate mega traffic for their banner ad campaign.. talk about scabbie.
Say what you want, i've followed this fiasco and they have mislead me and they will never get a penny from me now, I will never support a company who treats their members in this fashion.. what goes around comes around.

I find this very interesting but it is no suprise is it, its a result of them allowing people to make mega accounts and then recieve mega phase1 keys.. its a FAIL

it seems that you could buy an account for $75 from what i'm seeing on other forums, thats another EPIC FAIL.
great company but whoever is running this piticular show , well I do honestly believe that all their publicity stunts will turn sour and become bad publicity, mega people feel misled, wether its intentional or not and its not a matter if they can play, its a matter of the misled issue, now its turned to people taking advantage of multiple accounts and selling them.. just seems like an EPIC FAIL in my opinion
I think some of you are totally off-topic here. If you want to discuss the closed beta invites, this is the wrong thread.
/On-topic: I've tested the Warrior and they will be really overpowered in PvP in my opinion. Great attack and great defense and no real disadvantages against ranged classes...but we will see when they raise the cap to 30 and allow for some more PvP action, not just duels.
