DoTA or Starcraft 2

so ive been wanting to try SC2 but i dnt want to spend the money and not like it so i would like any input on the game Vs. Dota because im currently playing League of Legends and love the style and i kno DoTA is very like it.

Some Questions

------------------------------

- DoTA is it worth the money? (because of its age)

- SC2 is it worth it as well idk if ill like the style since its diff. from LoL and DoTA.

Played:WoW,WH,Aion,Darkfall,DaOC,AoC,EQ2.
Currntly:Searching for The game

    Dota is NOT better the LOL. I am a dota vet.  If you like dota then wait for dota 2 to come out.  SC 2 has a great campaign mode but,  the multiplayer is very in depth.  You gotta decide.  Do you want to play agame about controlling an entire civilization or  one hero.

    Since when is DoTA a game in it self?  I thought it was still a warcraft map...

    If you want to buy any "Dota" I don't suggest you to buy Warcraft 3 but Heroes of Newerth. Though not even Heroes of Newerth is even close as good as League of Legends imo.

    Save your money. :)
