Hey everyone, for those of you that were invited to this weekend's stress test, just remember that the purpose is to stress the game servers to the limit of capacity so we can improve overall performance and stability. In other words, our goal is to break the game.
Our first stress test a few months ago exceeded the Perpetual Beta concurrency by a factor of 4! With the response we've had to this invitation, I'm pretty sure we're going to set the servers on fire. But that's okay, it'll make the game better when it ships.
Also, if you were invited to the stress test, most likely you will gain access to the Closed Beta next week.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I really am loving testing you guys game, this game is wonderful and set in a perfect world! Combat could be much faster paced, would give the game a more realistic feel cause the animations are amazing! Look forward to keep on testing you game and I really hope you guys accept my roommate so we can test together! Thanks!

In case you haven't noticed, many gaming fans are waiting for a good game. Not a great game, just a good one that works and is fun. Greatness can be spawned from that.

I remember testing this game when it was in closed beta under Perpetual Entertainment, it seemed good it had bugs of course but thats what beta is all about.
Anyway i've signed up for beta again just hoping I can get it on the action again

the stress test started at 2 p.m cst and lasted one minute until their servers crashed? cant load launcher and the forums aint working either xD
yep same thing here bah got the game to load and was surprised to see it needed patching (usually happens before a login!) then it said i couldnt patch the game as i wasnt admin ( which i am!) then the game shut down and has been stuck since!

Nice work Romans I wasnt able to make the stress test due to watching the Michigan Football game. I am glad the stress test went exactly how they planned, means the servers will be even better and stronger the next stress test. Love this company already and man do I wish they will keep listening to the community, cause their is some amazing material posted from other players on the beta forums! Gods and Heroes is the next big thing and man its only going to get better!

Yep they are allowing those who stress tested to play until launch, pretty nice of them =]
Look forward to seeing more Romans on the amazing journey in Gods and Heroes. Tons of great ideas on the forums, be active and help the devs. make the best possible game they can make!

Correct if you had a beta account for the stress test, that key will be active to test come Monday until Launch is what I am reading =]
Grats to everyone, enjoy this lovely game, realize their are bugs and their are some problems but they are fixing them and do know that this game will be epic come release!
2 hours and nothing moved, couldn't even make a char.
Their Apache Server (which didn't even have its signature hidden) was dying constantly.

There's a LOT of work to be done, really. It even does not look like anything's actually DONE....
So did we manage to crash everything including their web site and stress test is over for today already?
Or do they need some more "crushing power"?
It's done! Monday all your people who were not in beta get a chance to play the game starting Monday! Look forward to seeing more Romans in game to play with. Def. would like to get a Tribe going and an active vent community! If people are interested and as dedicated to testing this game as I am get ahold of me!
