Then go and check HanoverZ and guys like Slapshot1188 forum history. If that´s not trolling, then I guess trolls are a myth after all.
Again, that is purely your biased opinion. You are not the one to decide who is right or wrong, what is true or false. People are welcome to discuss what they want on the forums.

its fact that paratus is not a mod and even said it himself and you can see which mod, mods which section of mortal online forums who have the privaillage to close threads etc.
also it was kootaney who closed the thread.
so the whole point of the thread is pointless, since it suggesting on the title he closed the thread when actully it was kootaney who is mod.
so again its false, (the title) then the OP post makes it seems that they are talking about server ping when really its just a thread to bash the guys work on the game and to fabicate a lie that he closed the thread and is going to become a GM and also worked on the servers anti cheat system.
when all he done was design the GUI for the libary system and create a patcher for sv in the past.
this very post is an attempt to make me retailate.

maybe you are the irrational person who thinks they are correct? do you think people have not tried speaking to the mods at mmorpg.com? also this is coming form a guy who has not played mortal online and instead can only base his opinions on his sources which im say are biased and incorrect and yes this is my opinion on the sources, but my beef is that the lies and deciet goes 2 far and what we have here is a pool of hate and bashing which has left most "MORTAL ONLINE FANS" ALIENATED AND FED UP THAT THEY WON'T EVEN BOTHER DISCUSSING THE GAME WITH PEOPLE INTRESATED IN THE GAME.
I'd like to think of myself as another neutral opinion (since I have no vested interest in Mortal's success or failure) and I have to agree if you really feel that post was that out of order as well as the tone of criticism the site allows against Mortal online you should contact Mike, I haven't dealt with him much but what I know of him he seems a reasonable fellow. And honestly by posting this way you don't seem like you are trying to actually resolve the issue as much as just attempting to take a side in an issue you yourself feels shouldn't be allowed as an issue.
I don't know the exact terms of service for this site but I would imagine you are right that people shouldn't be posting about others by name but if you don't actually talk to the mmorpg staff what good is it going to do you.
but yeah, to call this game Fantastic is like calling Twilight the Godfather of vampire movies....

The same people that now hate Mortal Online used to post this kind of trash onto Darkfall but they failed there and they will fail here.
You seem unable or unwilling to grasp the concept of an OPEN game forum. People discuss,debate and convey their thoughts/opinions on games. MMORPG.com isnt some de facto FACT site on MMO titles.

If that was the case, then there should be no need for moderators, and open forum and hate forums is different.
You can hardly have a discussion or even a debate anymore.
Why is it that people who do not play the game anymore have to stick around trolling and trying to make the game look bad and derail threads???
There is a difference between attacking/criticising a game and a poster.
Saying MO's patcher sucks is a valid opinion to have, saying Poster X sucks is merely trolling and abusive behaviour. The problem for the MO fans is that their default position when people say the game is very poor is to attack the poster. Which is why they get so many warnings and bans. It's not a conspiracy, it's just that you can't control your behaviour.
What would be really interesting is for a mod here to look at the IP's of all these MO posters. Be interesting to see how many are from the same IP range ... perhaps somewhere in Sweden ...

What I would like to know is what was the OP's opinion in that thread, or what was wanting to discuss. Other then a thread got locked on the MO forums. All that poster did was copy, and pastes from there to here. They go not give there opinion about the patcher itself, nor why it is bad.
I am merely stating my opinion about the game. But you are right, this account was made while I was still playing MO and wanted to be a part of discussion about it on these forums. As for trolling, I'm afraid you are wrong, I just like discussing games and help people saving money instead of wasting them on crap.
Trolling means posting incorrect information just to cause unrest. I am just posting my opinions, only because they differ from yours doesn't make me a troll.

It's his word vs others. How would moderators here know who is right? They don't follow MO to know every single one there.

Ellipses are part of English grammar, they are used for a specific reason. Your abuse of capitalisation is far more telling of a sock puppet as it is not part of English grammar. Petard, hoisted.
Anyway, new account since I never read this board till I was pointed here by the official MO forums.
I know what you mean man. If someone tries to bring up bugs with the new patches, financial status, loss of subs or anything like that people try to troll the threads endlessly and derail them. Some individuals use to bait hardcore and then report anyone that responded.
Lately they've even resorted to openly questioning moderation with threads like the following... .

It's sad though because while some of the "don't like MO" discussions did go a bit far (And MMORPG.com is not opposed to handing out warnings, bans and locking or deleting threads when they feel they are warranted) but when the bashing on this forum and others about MMORPG.com goers and individuals get thrown into the mix it just feeds the flames and then just makes everything worse.
I mean sure MO is riddled with problems, most of those given enough time can probably be patched and fixed. Those defending the game in a way such as you are though give a negative look and feel to the community that can't be fixed with a patch. In a "sandbox" PvP game like MO, the quality of the community is just as important as the quality of the game.
A "hater" posting about things that were broken in a patch does less harm to a game than a fan that comes charging in wildly flailing about and attacking everyone and everything in sight including the site that he or she is posting on.
If your intent was to help MO out, I think you picked the wrong tactic.
This is about all I will say on the subject. I've been hanging on to the hope that MO will be in a state one day that I could see myself playing. I laugh at some of the mistakes they make because, well they are funny (Like deleting a whole city on accident lol and the heart attack bug) and yes I have no issue discussing my problems with the game but the facts are I wouldn't be checking in and visiting this forum if I didn't have hope that someday it would be in good enough shape for me to play and enjoy it.
But... things like this, well after the goings on over the past few weeks and with how bad the reports for the game have been and having "fans" of the game behaving like this and even worse in other places. I just don't think I have hope for it anymore so I doubt I will be checking in anymore, community is a large part of the sandbox and from what I've seen from the official forums and here as well as in other places I just don't think I want to be a part of a community like that.
The other issues MO has are enough to put a damper on the hopeful to the semi hopeful, adding to that a community like the one it has, well count me out and have a good day.
im sorry that the community of mortal online is disappointing for you, well its not like much of the mo community is hanging here for obvious reasons.
Im not trying to do anything, im just asking why the mods are allowing a thread of that context to exist, the op post didn't even follow with the threads title and just posted some pics about NA server yet the thread title is about him locking the thread talking about the na server, he then comes on the thread here to explainsome still and to clear up some misunderstandings yet gets personally attacked and the existance of the thread can only lead to flaming and trolling since the threads purpose has become meaning-less since its based on that he locked the thread when he didnt lock the thread.
OK guys, this thread is highly inappropriate. If you have a problem with another user's post or thread please simply report it and move on. Creating threads like this is not allowed.
