If they dont you lost the key and have to wait until it expires before getting new keys to distribute. Your only have 4 keys per account so yes if your lucky your able to get free months but not easy.

Also, what is the blessing that I see when I first log in? Looks like it lasts 60 minutes and has a timer counting down.

The only way to trade stuff between toons is use the mail system and send your stuff to your other toons. The timer you see is something new calleed Nevits Blessing. If you have over 100 recs you will get a 1 hour bonus of 50% xp at login everyday. They changed the rec system so you can get alot of recs and you can rec the same toon over and over now instead of once so its not hard to stay full of recs. Great time to come back. I am really looking foward to the merge my self.
