Vogster should have bought it and cornered the market on coppers n robbers,at least I would have more hope that it would be somewhat playable with them.
I'm afraid this might get real laggy now. I like that it'll go F2P, I'm afraid it'll be unbalanced for those that don't buy from the Cash Shop, but I'm glad it's coming back. This is a very mixed blessing. Good news? It probably won't be going away. Bad news? We may not get a competent dev team to make the game right.

Seems to be a lot of K2 haters out there or maybe they are just being overly vocal today. Don't buy into the negativity. I have gamed with K2 for three years and never had a problem with either the company or the customer service. I have played Sword2 recently and there are no bots or hackers unlike the Asian version of the same game which IS full of bots and gold spammers.
How many companies can you name that are in the business of buying bankrupt and failed games. K2 is the only one I can think of that ever purchased a shut down game and brought it back on line. They did so with 9Dragons when Accliam went under and now the game prospers. APB is in good hands with K2 GamersFirst.

This sucks for those like myself who actually bought the game way back when. Now the game is being hosted by in my opinion the worst gaming company ever. They should give us some compensation for buying the game like, leaving it dead and not trying to revive it and make it worse than what it was.
I never got to play this game even though i was looking forward to it, i didnt even know it had been released. From what i have seen and read the character customization seems to be the games biggest asset.. it looks very awesome. I am somewhat happy that there is some hope that it wont completely disappear. 2k games might not be the best but if there is a buyer and they are buying it for the shocking price of only 2,4 million there should be chances of another buyer. Maybe they will pay more? I mean come on, my house cost 3 million and im not a company investing money in my house. Anyway.. i am hoping for this game to not fade, and having hope is better than nothing.

If its coming out again before the end of 2010 it means that it will be exactly the same as before. The last round of changes that came before it closed destroyed the game for me.

I've played WarHack & I really don't like their service & hack-detection, hope they won't make APB as crap as their other games...
