Old school RPG feeling....To bad MMOs cant invoke the same.

Im playing Gothic 4 Arcania. And I must say this game is hands down one of the best Rpg's Ive played in a really long time. It reminds me of Ultima Ascension, although different in its own state, it was nice to see the Ultima series transform into 3D. I really wish MMOS could use the Gothic 4  technology as far as feel, combat and graphics. Might be somewhat hard for a MMO but dang this game is great. I really enjoy the old school RPG feeling and has brought back a lot of memories.. Havent been able to stick with a MMO as long as I did with Everquest, Ultima Online and DAOC so maybe Ill just indulge with some good ol single player RPG's.

    Thanks, downloading the demo now and going to look at Gothic 2 & 3 too.

    Played 2 and 3 they are pretty good, but 4 was the icing on the cake..

    You should have played T4C in the past... some grand server re-opening soon- that brings back the good old times

    Anyone thats a fan of Gothic, Give Risen, Two Worlds and Divinity 2 a try also.

    Great old school inspired free roam PC rpgs.

     

    Edit: please try to get them on PC. These PC based Rpgs just dont translate well onto console. You've been warned.
