    The 7 day free trial has been opened up again for anyone who wants to sample the game or if your an ex player and want to see the changes that have been made recently. (You need to create a new station username if you want to try this trial) Core Combat expansion is not included though. :(

    Awesome! I have been looking for a free trial for MONTHS! I heard this game was great due to the fact its a FPS +MMO. Hope it's better than WWIIO!

    PS is not as ambitious as WWIIonline. It's more fast paced. In my opinion, consider all the strategical aspect of PS as a pretext for the fraging. So if you are a casual gamer and dont mind capturing same places again you should have fun.

    I hate all these games with there free trials or betas being so enourmous... If i am going to spend time downloading a game thats over a GB its damn well going to be a full game not a demo/free trial.

    Was that a thought I just had, or and echo of a thought I was thinking of having?

    And, Fr0z3nSiNx, it depends on what you mean by better.

    IMHO PS has the inenvious position of being beaten on both sides.

    If you like the twitch aspect of FPS and want the added feature of having a transient strategic reason for the twitch along with vehciles and largish maps then you want to go with BF1942 and mods. It's free. Plenty of servers. Better netcode for a smoother experience. Rounds begin and end in about an hour and just like PS you're fighting over the same locations over and over. :D

    If the twitch aspect is getting tiring and you want an overly broad strategic game where you do make a difference but you're not the sole reason for a win or loss as events can take weeks to unfold. Where tactics mean more than twich, the MM aspect is important and netting 3 kills on a 45M sortie is considered a great one then WWIIOL is for you.

    PS fails to go as far as WWIIOL does so the day-to-day fluctuations make the overly broad strategic moves rather pointless. Meanwhile the FPS aspect isn't up to par with free games which provide 80%+ of the scope that PS does.

    Not just another pretty color.

    I have the trial and I'm considering to buy the game, what would I need to buy to be up to date? Just digitally download Core Combat (it comes with BFR action pack right?) and I'll be ready or do I need to buy Aftershock?

    i got a problem.for some reasen my trial doesnt have Core Combat.i cant use any robots or any of the hover vehicles.does it not actualy come with it? imageim cunfusedimage
