I'm not sure if it was stated in article, but Realtime Worlds developers will indeed reap the rewards of the game being brought back. I think I read it on Massively.

it wasn't worth $15 a month, the game just lacked content... aside from customizations

Lack of customization?? what game were you playing? I swear stupid people should not have kids APB is the best game to come out since battlefield 1942 im glad its going F2P instead of just ending service. Lol and its not these noobs who cant afford $15 its their parents

I'm pretty sure this is the first post I've done, but OH MY GOD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

Are they even going to make the game more optimized? There's no point to make it f2p when the only ones that can play it are the ones who can afford beefy computers, also the memory leak was pretty bad, I was running 4 gigs of ram and it still wasn't enough for the game, I had to restart my client every hour.

I think the worst thing for the people who have played the game before is that we lost all our custom symbols, a lot of them took a couple of days to make.

Crime Craft and Global Agenda are just to much of a lobby game setup. APB had a good open world feel to it that I just haven't found shooter wise. The Customization was out there as well, I miss my cars lol.

I feel exactly the same man. After this game i've been jumping from game to game, trying to find a replacement. But man, what do I miss logging in, spawning my car, and just fuck around with my friends. Not to mention the customization. There's absolutely nothing like this game (yet), so i'm happy it's coming back.

My only fear is how the F2P cash shop will look like. I hope it's kinda like Maple Story, that would be great. And I wish Nexon would've bought the game instead, but hey, we can't have everything right?

It is always a shame to see hard work go to waste or to see a new spin on the MMO genre fail. While I hate F2P glad to see it will live again. Just hoping that a heavily PvP game does not become Pay 2 Win.

wouldn't this be a heart warming success story, if this game comes out, becomes the fastest failing game ever, see's the company behind it dissolved, fades away with almost no hope for the future, gets picked up by a F2P company with a few old school F2P hits, and becomes an instant F2P hit?

    guess I should stay tuned!

Cool another free to play game . Wont be long now before the majority of mmos will have some sort of free to play model .Personally I hope they will some variation of the hyrbid model . Subscription based mmos are fast becoming a thing of the past . I know that wont make a lot of people happy but i relish the idea of trying all these games before deciding if I wish to stay and pay a sub or micropayment . Lets hope someone picks up Tabula Rasa although I do have my doubts that will happen .

Yeah, the cash shop is my only worry as well. I don't want to pay out the arse for customization of my cars and my toons, and I will NOT pay to win so things like weapons and upgrades on the item mall will just kill it for me.
