Vanguard Refugees coming to Rift

Check out the reunion thread on the Rift forums.  Many Vanguard players are looking forward to Rift and there seems to be an interest in getting on the same Rift Server.

    btw, there are threads like that for most major MMOs (I know I've seen AoC, EQ2 and WoW for sure)

    While SWTOR and GW2 have a lot more hype, my hopes are on Rift for a large part. I hope they can give us what they promised- a traditional fantasy MMORPG with a diverse class system and dynamic events. Well, it's really good to see so many having an interest in Rift :).

    The wife and me are two ex-VG players.  We left the game when they openly announced that they were stopping support for the PvP servers, and the servers died.   VG has excellent PvE, but it felt as if we had lost 1/3 of the game, so we didn't transfer.

     

    We like to PvE, Craft/Harvest, and PvP...Heck we even did some diplomacy.  I like to have options.

     Yes...I am in  a  similar situation

    I love Vanguard and use to play on Halgar .I cancelled my subscription last week

    Rift looks really promising

    It is not just any thread.  It is the second most viewd thread on the general rift boards behind the beta app thread.  VG haters may not like it but Vanguard players are a very large part of the Rift fanbase.

    I'll be checking out the game for sure. Hope I run into a few people I may have killed from vanguard :D
