World of Warcraft: Darkmoon Faire Mini Site Opens

The 2010 version of the Darkmoon Faire mini-site has opened for business for World of Warcraft fans. Players choose a faction then play mini-games including a fun Cataclysmic-ish 'Azeroth's Fortune' game. There are also places to upload video and images for the annual contests centered around Darkmoon Faire.

Wow, very interesting, Darkmoon Faire was always a fun event in WoW.
Now if only they would actually fix some of the bugs, like Fel Reavers sliding around Hellfire at breakneck speeds or the rapid wing flapping of those bone dragons in Icecrown.
Or maybe actually reverting the gold gain on dailies and quests back to normal until Cata comes out. It is awesome when a 13g daily suddenly has a 2g payout with no prior warning. Oh, this nerf also applies to doing quests for gold after a character hits 80. Was gonna clear out Storm Peaks and Icecrown quests for my epic flying money on my shammy, but thats pointless now.
But hey, we got new mini-websites and forums!

That's because The level cap is now level 85. You just don't have the cata key in order to level to 85. I know you're upset because blizz tried to minimize downtime on the 7th. whine some more.

Umm, I wasn't saying that their website creation team should be fixing bugs in the game. I was just saying it would be nice if Blizzard could fix some of the bugs also. Where in my statement did you read otherwise?
I was just making that statement about Blizzard's priorities as a whole. There has been bugs left in the game for years that haven't been addressed.
Oh, and witchboy... I just recently hit 80 on that shaman, how was I to know they were gonna nerf gold gains from quests at cap? There was no indication of so.
You clearly implied in your original post that the website was put up to the neglect of bug fixes. Sorry, but that's what he was responding to.
Anyhoo, I was bummed about the gold reward dropping as well.
why do you need gold pay out? its only 5 k for flying, 1k for northrend flying and only measely 5 k to get max speed on your mount whan cata comes out. thats only 11K, and to fly in kalimdor will cost you to so 12K gold. with 2g payout per quest, why o why would you need more then that?

It's only 4250 for flying if you have at least honored status with any trainer that you can purchase the skill from. Between that and the drop to 100 gold for dual spec things have become quite a bit cheaper in game. Yeah, 4250 ain't THAT much of a drop, but hey it's not THAT hard to make money in this game!
If at first you don't succeed, pay someone who will.
Beside it sucks that rewards was dropped like that, as from ques we get gold & experience ( if we cant get it pays on gold), here is just halved reward without adding something else.
Don't know about yours realm but mines is already empty, may be guys just don't pay before Cata(strophe) or may be they already left game.
Honestly I think Cata(racts) is step back which means people gonna look for something new & fresh.
By the way anyone knows any new game worth to play?
try before buy, even if it's a game to avoid bad surprises.
