Like the title says im looking to come back. That being said i would like to know how the game is doing in your eyes at least. Although i hear the pvp is broken i dont really care im not a huge pvp fan but i did hear this games pve is really great now so im curious if you agree with that. Also how long does it take to find a group for an instance because me and a buddy have been playing wow and although i hate that game the random dungeon finder is nice. THanks!

The game has such low population these days, you won't find anyone to reply you fast.
Even the official forums are slow.
You should take a peek at the official forums, though. Threads there give you quite good idea how the game is.
The game is in trouble and will probably dwindle to something like 10k players like AO has gone.
As for the population, there are actually pretty packed servers but this tends to be at end game pop. Those playing aren't spending there time here
If you are looking for something like wow insta Q dungeons, you won't be liking the end game here, at all. That being said however, there are always pugs for the lower tiered raid instances, and all it takes is a group of 6 to do the dungeons in the expansion.
With that in mind, most players are by now on "godslayer" modes so it can be a task to get a group for the normal 6 mans.
The pvp is still the best in my opinion, people just don't take advantage of the systems put in place for them and complain when others do.
Overall to me personally, this is the best mmo on the current market hands down, regardless of people bitching about the launch and not giving it another chance. It just depends on what you are into, the pve in my opinion is badass but if you are looking for insta Q dungeons, probably wont suit yer needs.

Hi OP.
I play the game and love the game. So does my huge guild. But hey, why get comments like mine or the one above from random internet guy when you can trial the game for free. Game is so fun that the trial time will be well time spent regardless of if you continue or not.
Try Aqulonia server. Good stuff

I think this game is great and although I love Aqulonia,it has one of the lowest populations.I recently transfered to Fury from there and it's a totaly new game for me,much much more active there.Also people on Fury think that has low pop and if your more into PVE then Crom would be your best bet.EU servers though,I have no idear about the US ones.
If your on the US Side,
dont bother with pvp, majority of whatever is left of the population is migrating to wiccana.
save yourself the headache and look for a another game if pvp is your primary reason to play aoc.
if not and you insist, then do the following:
1. find the biggest super guild(s) on either pvp servers and join them
2. if your a masochist, then pick any of the following classes of Conq, Pom or DT. if not, dont do it.
3. Learn how to combo mold and circle stafe,
4. turn global off
I as tempted to come back as well for the new expansion. The game looked so amazing with dx 11 I just ran around making vids for the whole weekend. Though it just wasnt rewarding to play anymore really unfortunate was fun while it lasted!
