  It's fun, but It's free if you spend $49.00 (US). Some Places give you a $10.00 rebate slip.

  
  At the very least, think on the level of MMORPGs, and that you've just bought a minimum 3 month subscription...that can stretch on for as long as the game is popular or as long as you enjoy it! That's still a good deal in my eyes because once you buy it you are not irrationally 'forced' to play it non-stop for fear of losing another X amount of money a month.

  Here how it goes.  First, you need to buy the game ($50, don't want to do the "99" crap) because of the code needed to open an account.  Second, there is no monthly fee.  Third, there will be expansion pack BUT you don't really have to buy it.  The game will still work for you without the expansion and yes, you will still see your friends if THEY have the expansion pack, however, you will miss the new stuff being release, like new cities.  Last, it is not just fun, it is addictive.

  Also, you can buy the games cd key from plaync.com. That's what I did, I entered the billing information and I submitted, took about 20 secs to send it and on the next page I saw my cd key ^^

  The only bad thing about it is that the price is same as for the box game, kinda like a rip-off, but you still get it on the first day you order

  I might get this game in UK 50 us dolla=about £25  unless they have jacked the price up.
